Marley and Marley look great! :concern::sing:
Whenever I miss a themed menu, I'm bummed I missed it, but at least I can look forward to more, and I'm always knocked out by them!
Ha, the smileys I used have double meaning:
1. It's Mr. Nelson and Mr. Goelz in other forms, since they sing that...
All the credits being listed on the HVIE opening makes me feel like it could have been on in the evening, because (just like a well made cartoon) any adult cool enough to revel in the zany humor and have a lot of fun watching it like I still do, is cool with me.
On the other hand, anyone who...
Well said, GonzoLeaper - I love David the Gnome, and will always remember him for that...I also remember the Stingiest Man In Town, and hope to find it online (youtube?) this holiday season, which I wanted to do even before I was reminded Tom Bosley was in it. Also, he was great in The Tangerine...
When I was little and the year 2000 sounded so far away and futuristic, I thought we'd have flying cars by then. Well, now I'm glad we don't. You know if you're in one of them and run out of gas or stall or whatever, you're done.:concern: So, it's just as well we don't have them.
"AAAAHHH!"
Haha, perfect DrTooth. I thought, "Oh I guess he's gonna overlook the secret word thing..." and then at the end you surprise us :) Good job.
You got it; that's the most touching moment for me. When Jerry sings, "your friend will make you cry" he conveys such powerful emotion, it's amazing. The words and music are perfect, and the whole thing is sung to perfection by Jerry. My favorite episode, too.
secret word
(Okay Katzi428, let's try it...)
Can anyone help me with the name of a song from Nightmare Before Christmas? It's the first song in the movie, but I can't seem to recall the last word...
"This Is ---------"?
I agree with your entire post! I mostly remembered the barber skits, and Dr. Otto (who's name I didn't recall...but just the hand on top of his head that moved when he spoke...I always recalled that and loved it)...
I'm so glad Jim won an emmy for that...it's a super cool show, and of he's...
Well said. As soon as I heard the news I went here. I was just watching the last episode of MB the other day, and thinking how cool it was to still have her around in her nineties. She was perfect as Nanny. You know the saying, "I can't imagine it being anyone else" - well that's the case here...
I don't know all his work, but ever since I was 11, I've loved "All Shook Up" - cool vocals and energy, and feeling. And I really love his later years where he sang ballads quite beautifully - to me that showed so much emotion and what a great voice he had.
Very very cool to learn Peter was a Muppet fan! I remember wishing he was dressed as Clouseau a little bit longer in the show than just that intro bit! But it was still a fun episode, and when he said "Link!" is was funny to me for some reason, just the way he said it:D
Quantum Leap
Very cool! I always found that MacGgyver and Quantum Leap go together, for two reasons.
1. I watched both and loved them
2. They were both action and adventure filled, and yet with heart, based on good people trying to do the right thing!
Now, one might feel my reasoning is vague...
Good point that those who get into trouble (due to being bad, or just being a follower of someone bad) could use more school. It's just a shame if those who are good and aren't followers have to lose the luxury of a peaceful summer filled with fun.
Indeed:D And the rest of your post (which I...
I don't think the answer is more school days, either (and I doubt it'll happen, because this is certainly not the first mention of it; I remember hearing about a non stop school year being proposed by someone quite a long time ago). Also, I didn't know more college educated were out of work than...
