    The Funny Picture Thread

Being a playing card enthusiast, this made me audibly laugh out loud:

    The "You know what?" thread

I just realized something I miss about hand-animated series: the gradual evolution of the character designs over the years - sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse, but it really helps with the growth of an animated series as it progresses.

Oh lord, how many years it's been since I made that one! XD

Once again, my own variation on a popular meme; and this is why I don't ship anymore:

The “What did you do today?” thread

I managed to get a sizeable SS lamppost display from GameStop, and got it talked down to 10 bucks . . . even though it breaks apart into piece, each piece is as heavy as can be.

Disney should just sell back the Muppets to the Jim Henson Company

He does occasionally, but the explanations are usually to just shower Disney with empty praise without it being grounded in any form of reality.

None Like it Hot: The "I Hate the Heat" Club

Overcast kind of bothers me because it's like okay, make up your mind, do you want to be sunny or cloudy today? Which is it? Come on!

None Like it Hot: The "I Hate the Heat" Club

65 and below would certainly be my ideal climate, though I'd still miss the sweater weather that comes with temps under 60 degrees. But otherwise, I could totally tolerate such a climate, though rainfall has never been a problem with me: as long as I don't have to actually get out and drive in...

Disney should just sell back the Muppets to the Jim Henson Company

You're the one who's always wrong you little snot! Open your rose-colored eyes and face up to your own wrongness rather than pin it on everybody else.

    Confessing Crushes...

I don't really know the characters' ages, but she's supposedly one of the older sisters, even though she doesn't really look it. But either way, I mean, that bothers you? Because Jeanette's freakin' eight-years-old, and nobody seems bothered by that. :P :P :P

None Like it Hot: The "I Hate the Heat" Club

Again, you can always add layers and such to warm yourself up from the cold . . . it doesn't quite work as well in reverse when it's over 90 degrees outside . . . and when it's over 100, just about all you can it come on in, take off your skin, and rattle around in yo bones!

    Confessing Crushes...

I decided to post this here instead of the Animated Hotties thread, because I certainly wouldn't consider Luan Loud hot by any means, but she is kind of cute enough: But really, what's not to love about an awkward, quirky, dorky girl, whose sole purpose in life is to be funny and make people...

The “What did you do today?” thread

In a way, my generation's version of that era was internet was still new (and usually more commonly found in public places like schools and libraries), and cable and/or satellite services were still a luxury for a precious few.

The “What did you do today?” thread

There's another mall on the other side of my town (that's surprisingly still not-quite-as-dead) that used to have a Warner Bros. store waaay back when, that I always found so cool! Especially since dead center in the store was a space ship piloted by a hologram of Marvin the Martian (who was...

The “What did you do today?” thread

Starting to? Malls have been looking like ghost towns for a number of years now. Despite having not been to the one near where I live in a number of years, I did see where somebody posted a video on YouTube within the last year or so walking around inside . . . quite practically the only thing...

Official: Elmo’s Staying Up Late Show coming to HBO Max on May 27, 2020

See, my feelings are kind of the opposite: despite Elmo's constant state of happiness and such, his personality is such that he can kind of adapt to almost any kind of situation, scenario, or setting, while still remaining in-character and endearing as always . . . he can feel "real" with...

Official: Elmo’s Staying Up Late Show coming to HBO Max on May 27, 2020

In a way, I feel like this is kind of like a step or two back for SS. Elmo was so big and so popular for so long, that in recent years (Kevin's issues not withstanding), things were gradually starting to quiet down a little bit, and other characters began to receive more, overdue, yet...
