Ernie: A can a sardines? I wonder if they were packed in Russia! Khehehehe!
Bert: Ernie..
Ernie: It’s a running joke, Bert.
Big Bird: Who’s running?
Ernie: No, no...they’re rushin’.
Bryan: Aah thanks! Ed, I will give you and the count an appropriate 15% of this for all of your generous assistance. And a box of cookies!
Now, I just need to start on this to-do list for the day since I don’t have work again until Sunday...
(I am sitting in the break room of the bakery with a huge bag of bills and small cups filled each with coin denominations, looking very overwhelmed) oh, boy...
Big Bird: Bryan!
Bryan: Down here, Big Bird!
Big Bird: Bryan, you’re rich! Look at all those nickles and dimes!
Bryan: These are...
Big Bird: Chicken soup!?!? Is that a joke?!
Bryan: Oh, she meant vegetable soup for you, Big Bird! (Whispers to Kathy) Big Bird can’t eat chicken soup or he’ll feel like he’s eating his cousins. Go on inside, Big Bird. I’ll make you a pot. Oh, by the way... Super Grover had some great...

I love Baby Bear’s little one-liners too. He seems to have quite a vocabulary, which is hilarious. In some ways, he kinda reminds me of Linus—a bit of a know-it-all with a speech impediment. Only B.B. is more comical.
Seriously, though, I see what you’re getting at. It doesn’t bother me because a lot of kids talk that way when they’re young. Not sure where they get it from but 2 of my cousins and now my nephew kinda does that R and W thing. He just sounds like a kid.
