Ernie: What's wrong, Bert?
Bert: I'm trying to figure out how we're going to get these sandwiches to Ed. I mean, we don't even have a key to his room and they're all down in the cellar.
Ernie: I've got an idea!
Bert: No, Ernie...no digging, remember.
Ernie: No, Bert... Maaaagic.
Bert...
Just saw a preview and it looks to be a good one. It will have Oz, Brill, Nelson, Goelz, and Barretta. It's been in development for a few years now. It is produced by Oz's wife (who actually came up with the idea) and also the guy who is head of the Legacy, i think. It's set to come out next...
Hi, Everyone!
I just attended this event last night that was part of the Jim Henson Exhibit here in NYC. It was such a cool experience but very laid back. Oz's wife was basically the moderator and would guide the evening asking Frank questions and they would discuss his career with Henson in...
Bert: Well, it looks like another hurricane is on the move.
Bryan: I think we should get more things together to send over to our friends. And no, Ernie, no more holes.
Bryan: (On the phone) Thank you, Biff. I appreciate you and Sully coming by with so many other things on your plate lately. I'll be sending you a check soon. (Hangs up)
Well, now that the holes are closed up, things are looking more normal around here. Although, I haven't heard much activity...
(Shuffling back home after a long night at work...)
Well, it seems like everyone here is safe and sound after the hurricane. Sounds like a happy ending to me.
(Leaves a bag of cookies from work hanging on the knob of Suite 1 for the "Cookie Eater" before heading into 3)
(Inside Suite 1, thumping and bumping can be felt and heard from below the floor, until two shovels make their way through and the some floor collapses below creating a big hole and Ernie and Bert's heads pop up)
Ernie: Ed? Count? Hi, Everybody! Bert, we made it!
Bert: I know!
Ernie...
(In a section of the sewers, Bert is sitting on a pipe surrounded by several young rats. He is in the middle of a story...)
Bert: And then the pigeon turns to the dove and says, "Thank coo to you too!" (Laughs)
(Awkward silence)
Bert: (frowns) tough sewer.
Ernie: So you guys really live...
Bert: Ernie, I thought you said you left a crumb trail.
Ernie: I did.
Bert: Then where are they?
Ernie: Maybe someone took them.
Bert: Took them? Who would take them?
(A Rat appears next to Ernie, who's holding a cookie)
Rat: Excuse me. Can I take that?
(Ernie/Bert scream in surprise)...
Bryan notices a huge hole in the floor in the corner of the living room area...
Bryan: Big Bird, what is this?!
Big Bird: Why, it's a big hole!
Bryan: I see it's a hole, but...Barkley hasn't been over lately, has he?
Big Bird: Bryan, don't be silly. Dogs can't dig through hardwood floors...
In Suite 3...
Bryan: (walking into the living room) Hey, Big Bird. Have you seen Bert and Ernie at all? I haven't seen them lately.
Big Bird: Me neither.
Bryan: Maybe we just keep missing each other. I was hoping they took those cupcakes to Ed and Kathy that I brought home from work...
(In darkness, with the exception of the bit of light from their helmets...)
Bert: I feel like we've been digging forever. Hey, Ernie, what's that?!
Ernie: I dunno...
(They say just a bit of light shining in the near distance.)
Bert: I think we found our way out!
Ernie: just a little...
(The "pigeons" just about stop flying around Bert's head as he comes to.)
Ernie: Bert, are you okay?
Bert: Ernie...
Ernie: Oh, Bert! I'm so glad you're okay! Gosh I feel awful. Maybe we should wear these helmets. (He holds up typical mining helmets with a light on the front)
Bert...
(Ernie has been digging, while Bert follows with a big backpack and getting dirt flung to the face, they are deep underground...)
Bert: Ernie, are you sure this is a good idea? Ed and Kathy live steps away down the hall. We must be at least 20 feet underground.
Ernie: It's okay, Bert. The...
Ernie: Got all the provisions, Bert?
(Bert comes into the room arms full of oatmeal boxes)
Bert: Yeah yeah...
(He looses balance and they tumble to the floor)
Ernie: Oatmeal, Bert?
Bert: Hey, its nature to the rescue! And it sticks to the ribs. (Laughs)
Ernie: Hmm.
Bert: Just one thing...
Bert (Appearing in Ed's window): Ed, I've been watching the weather report. A storm is definitely a FOOT!
Ernie: A hurricane at HAND!
Big Bird: And it's HEADing towards the Caribbean!
Bryan: Hmm...seems like everyBODY better be prepared...
