    Old Fraggle Rock Books

Exactly, you read my mind! Hey, if I have to adopt I will (much later in life of course). I want to have someone to pass my Muppets books on to, hehe. ;)

    Swine Flu...

Lol, I was thinking the same thing. I'm normally pretty paranoid about germs, and it's usually an overreaction but it can come in handy in a real crisis. As Boober found out in "Marooned." ;)

    Old Fraggle Rock Books

That's great, christyb! My library has a store section that often has rare Muppet books, including Fraggles. It's always exciting to look through the collection, but also a bit difficult because I always feel like I need to leave some for the kiddies, hehe.

    Swine Flu...

It is scary, I do pray for the people of Mexico and hope it gets contained soon. I'm definitely going to wash my hands a bit more. You don't realize how much germs can be spread. People sneeze and then they touch doorknobs, or the "1" on an elevator. So be very careful!

Your Thoughts: Fraggle Rock Complete Series Collection

I know! It's a pain in the neck every single time you want to get to a disk. Though I suppose I shouldn't be complaining too much, heh. :o I think you're right, new sets are often released after movies. Depending on my financial situation, we'll see if that's any better.

The Sesame Street Golden Book Video Discussion Thread!

I used to have these videos as a kid and I was lucky enough to find them again recently at Amazon. Seeing them again was very surreal. It's amazing the things you forget in life and then suddenly remember, given a little nostalgic nudge. ;) I especially loved Big Bird Brings Spring to Sesame...

You might be an obsessed Muppet fan if...

Right, Jerry Nelson didn't participate in Muppetvision 3D. However, I saw footage of an old TV Museum event where he talked about how much he enjoyed it, saying it was the only decent 3D movie he ever saw, lol.

    The RHLC!

Good menu! I'm seriously a huge fan of crackers and cheese at parties, hehe. When I was ten I went to my Grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary and there was a cocktail party, my first ever. It was an amazing concept for a child, you can just take a bunch of tasty treats from random walking...

    The RHLC!

Hehe, thanks. I also mentioned that Placido Flamingo was probably my first exposure to Opera, I think they appreciated that. ;) For me, I respect Opera as an art form, but I honestly have trouble getting into it. It's just one of those things where you have to catch it at the right moment. I...

'Golden Girl' Bea Arthur dies at age 86

I just heard about this, I am truly sad. Bea Arthur was one of the greatest female comedians of our time. The Golden Girls still manages to attract so many fans, even young people. While I didn't agree with everything that was shown on Maude (not starting a debate here), I still hope Bea's work...

    BK Spongebob Commercial

Well sometimes parents are irresponsible like that, but often they are just overworked and overwhelmed when dealing with their kids. I just saw that Pinochio commercial; you know they missed an opportunity there to tell kids if they don't eat their veggies, they'll turn into donkeys! ;)...

A question about Fraggle Rock UK version

This looks like a good place to bring this up...I volunteer at The Paley Center for Media (formerly The Museum of TV and Radio), and recently I was able to read a copy of Television & Radio 1984 - Guide to Independent Broadcasting. Published by the Independent Broadcasting Authority, which was...

    Imagining.

No I think you're right, it's like when Barney says, "Hey kids, let's imagine we're in China!" Um...we're already imagining a giant, purple, annoying animal that ought to be extinct is in our classroom, isn't that enough? !

    BK Spongebob Commercial

Oh Dear God, the commercial's on again....where the mute button? Seriously, I may have to avoid the TV for awhile. I remember studying in school that sometimes Ad houses purposely make commercials annoying because they stay in the person's head. Well this one is staying in my head but it's...
