    Happy Birthday To Donald Duck!

Oh I loved Humphrey, definitely should have been used more! :o :) I also loved it when Donald was pitted against Chip & Dale; they were the perfect antagonists for him, hehe. Would have been interesting to see Donald on Rescue Rangers! :insatiable:

    Happy Birthday To Donald Duck!

Here's Donald Duck's theme song I mentioned earlier, classic! (Note: The song itself is in English, but the rest of the clip afterward is in Spanish): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MP7B6IoCxx0&feature=related

    Retro Commercials--What's the Attraction?

Lol, yeah, or one of those Medieval minstrels on the mandolin, hehe. Still, we have to admire his dedication. ;) Hmm...Is this one any better? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFTn2G9_UpM

    Happy Birthday To Donald Duck!

Who's the got the sweetest disposition? One guess, guess who? Who never, never starts an argument? Who never shows a bit of temperment? Who's never wrong, but always right? Who'd never dream of starting a fight? Who gets stuck with all the bad luck? No one...but Donald Duck. ; ) I remember...

    The RHLC!

Wow, I just saw our thread at the very top of the list as a sticky and all...pretty awesome! :flirt: It sounds like Dave and Steve were the partners in crime when it came to pranks, hehe, which could be why Richard gleefully labeled them "Scary Cats 1 and 2" on the Fraggle DVD, lol. I have...

    The RHLC!

Really? It's seems OK for me, that's odd. Aw it's OK, I've even drank donuts with Soda occasionally! Lol, as long as it's kinda weird (or sweet), I think Richard would approve. ;)

    The RHLC!

Yeah that's happened to me too, lol. Yay, I needed some donuts, hehe! I am glad Summer is starting, it's more opportunities for hot dogs and things of that nature, hehe. Hopefully I'll get to go to the beach at least once this year. A visit to the zoo would be nice too, hehe. Still, and...

R.I.P. Millvina Dean, Last of the Titanic's Survivors

Oh yeah I think as far as the sinking, the movie did a good job getting the emotion across. That and the ending where Rose is reunited with everyone on board, I always find very touching. :)

R.I.P. Millvina Dean, Last of the Titanic's Survivors

Titanic did have similarities to 9/11, definitely. One difference thoughI guess was that Titanic strictly enforced a rule of "Women and children first." Which does make sense, you do want to save the children and they need their mothers. But that meant so many fathers and husbands didn't make...

    My autistic son.

Glad you enjoyed it! It's a pretty amazing story, especially since Richard Hunt was known for having a good repore with kids. :) Hope the next Netflix comes soon! (They're pretty reliable lol).

R.I.P. Millvina Dean, Last of the Titanic's Survivors

I used to really be obsessed with the movie, lol. Looking back now I feel the love story was too cliche and contrived. But the film does manage to get across the enormity of the tragedy in a powerful way.

    I won't be posting anymore...

Good luck with your puppies! My new puppy barks like crazy every night at 3 or 4am; he's done sleeping and just wants to get up and play lol. Not so fun for the rest of us! Still, I love him. ;)

    The RHLC!

Aw sorry about that. :) I didn't mean it; I was just frustrated by certain issues. I do think overall it's very important and our responsibility to stay informed. :) Well I guess we should also remember, "Home is where the heart is," right? ;) Nice to hear from you again, Rax!

So Bad They're Good: Cult Films

Oh how cool! Yeah it's always encouraging when fans do their part. (As they said in Newsies, "Carrying the Banner!") ;) I remember all the hype before its release, especially at McDonalds with their collectible cups, wish I'd gotten one! :)

    Favorite Gordon?

I think Matt Robinson was a great role model and contributed so much to the beginnings of Sesame Street (though his version of Gordon occasionally got a bit too chauvanistic for my taste, hehe). I guess I'll mainly go with Roscoe Orman since I grew up with him and always liked his combination...

R.I.P. Millvina Dean, Last of the Titanic's Survivors

I hope now that even though the last survivor has passed away, we continue to remember the lessons of the Titanic story. There were many reforms in safety and regulations in the early part of 20th century that are still in place today. Unfortunately, so many of these regulations were only...

So Bad They're Good: Cult Films

I think the 1992 Disney live action musical Newsies sort of falls into the cult category. It didn't do very well at the box office initially and isn't usually included in Disney's greatest hits. Yet the film ended up having a huge following among High School drama clubs and acting classes and...

    The RHLC!

Glad we're finally a sticky. Definitely overdue. :) Still didn't think we needed to move, hehe. ;) But anyway, the thread is still around and that's what matters, especially when the world becomes too much for you to handle (as it does more and more often for me nowadays, heh). Sorry for...
