    RIP Dom DeLuise

Rest in peace, Dom, the world of entertainment was fortunate to have you. :)

What was the last DVD you bought and why?

I just bought the DVD of Newsies, the 1992 Disney movie musical about newsboys who went on strike at the turn of the century...Heh, I mean the other turn of the century. ;) I haven't seen it in years but it was one of my favorite movies back in the day. I can't believe how young Christian Bale...

    Should The RHLC! be moved?

I think we should first of all all get an "A" for diplomacy thus far, hehe. Impressive at how we're all seeing the different perspectives on the issue. Very Fraggle Rock. :excited:

    Should The RHLC! be moved?

Call me a sentimental old fluff, but I still like the thread in the Family & Friends forum. I guess it just makes us seem different and unusual like the Muppets, hehe. ;) So I guess I vote for B. However, if it did end up moving, that's fine. No boycotting the thread or anything. I can...

    The RHLC!

It's OK Ilikemuppets, no offence taken. ;) Wow, the things you find out! My Dad just told me he remembered when he was a kid, they submerged the bread into the wine first and then you received the wine indirectly that way! And yay Beaker and Don for making beautiful music together this week...

    The RHLC!

I like that idea better actually; my Church just has one cup and it gets wiped off for each person, which I just frankly have never trusted, heh. We never had a grape fruit option, that's interesting!

    The RHLC!

No prob! ;) About drinking (as was discussed earlier), I honestly have never found an alcoholic drink I have liked; the taste just does nothing for me. I've never had the wine at Church because my Mom and I are always kind of afraid of germs (even without the swine flu!). Lol I have friends...

    The RHLC!

Oh wow, Meep, that's really cool! My Grandfather was a life long painter and teacher; I think he'd definitely be impressed. ;)

    Swine Flu...

Our priest at Church today said we were under no obligation to shake hands or drink the wine today if we're nervous about the flu, hehehe. Perhaps it is an overreaction, but at this point, it doesn't hurt either. ;)

    The RHLC!

When I sneeze, it's almost never once. Always around 5 times before it stops, no idea why, but it tends to shock people, lol.

    Swine Flu...

Especially if you're a teacher, schools are practically germ factories. ;)

    SST 40th Anniversary Benefit Dinner

There was a section in the invite they sent, regarding donations. If anyone's interested I would email them through the address mentioned on that link (at the top of this thread).

    SST 40th Anniversary Benefit Dinner

Yeah pretty typical for benefits. Aw, that's a great attitude, Melissa, though I'm sure you do good just as you are right now. :) I've said this before, it's things like this that make me grateful for The Paley Center! ;) But on a happier note, it's great that Sesame Street's 40th is...

    SST 40th Anniversary Benefit Dinner

Well in the reply card they sent me, the least amount was $2,500 and it went up from there, heh. Not sure if there are any other options, that's the only information they sent me when I emailed.

    Swine Flu...

I honestly don't even think the hype has been that extreme, people are just pretty naturally concerned. For instance, there was an outbreak among a few students in a Queens school so people are naturally nervous about going near New York City because there's so many people and so many enclosed...

    Swine Flu...

AOL.com announced that the first death from the swine flu in the US has been an infant, which is obviously very tragic. The baby was living in Texas but actually came from Mexico...
