Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
Always great to see a new Muppets video! I'm glad someone on here clued me in on the "flaming" thing- I honestly didn't make the connection at first, but that definitely adds to the joke. Nice!
(And "Dust in the Wind" is a cool song too- one of Kansas' best- alongside "Carry On, Wayward...
Obviously these are the questions of the true diehard Muppet fans. The kind that actually know stuff like:
What color underwear was the Best Boy for The Muppet Movie wearing on the first day of shooting?
What was the exact contents of Jim Henson's lunch on the last day of shooting The...
I'd also love to see the rest of the ALF cartoons on DVD. I've got both the discs already released.
I don't remember the Uncle Matt segments as much- but then I haven't seen the Fraggle Rock cartoon in quite a long while...what about the individual DVD releases of live action Fraggle Rock...
If you saw this article and you really can totally see Shaun White as Animal.:halo:

That's a good cast lineup!
I can see the point about Sam too- but it could be funny just for "reverse casting". I wasn't thinking about the crookedness aspect too much- just Sam saying "Inconceivable!" That I could totally see!:attitude::D
You might be an obsessed Muppets fan if you see this article and immediately think there's been a Gonzo sighting!:concern::D

"Weird Al" Yankovic has done some absolutely hilarious music videos for his absolutely hilarious parody songs.
And he's had some famous faces appear in his music videos, giving him two quick direct links to The Muppets.
Florence Henderson appears in his "Amish Paradise" music video and of...
Sorry about that then. Didn't mean to cause any confusion or give anyone false hope.:o:concern:
And I mainly just meant to post about The Animal Show on this thread b/c at the time I didn't see that anyone had posted about it yet.:busy:
Well, I know. I had kinda just said that as a joke.;)
But yeah- Lips has had a few sparse moments of dialogue here and there. But his silence is certainly part of his character, similar to Zoot- though Zoot speaks a lot more than Lips and even so it's still not that much.
Target has it for about the same price of $15.
I got it the other day and checked out the special features. It was pretty nice to have any special features at all honestly- and it was nice to see Michael Frith talking directly about the creation of the Fraggle Rock cartoon. And the character...
Scott Cohen has guest starred on Numb3rs, which stars Judd Hirsch.
Judd Hirsch was on Taxi with Danny Devito.
Danny Devito has appeared on Sesame Street in the '80s when one could still pretty regularly see on there Kermit the Frog.:)
Here's a little different one to try.:D (And yes, I know...
That was a really cool game! I got all the Muppets in there, many just from memory mainly- but I wasn't sure how exact this was going. (Like typing in "Quongo" and getting no result and finally just putting in monkeys.);)
I just caught a quick reference while flipping channels. In the '80s movie "Girls Just Want to Have Fun", Sarah Jessica Parker's character retorts to her father that her "nightlife is watching The Muppet Show.":)
Ah- good point. I'd actually forgotten about those. Yes, that is still annoying...
I don't see how it would've killed Disney to allow the use of Kermit on the DVD releases. It would probably have boosted their sales that much more.
Oh well.
I need to amend my Marilyn Monroe entry.
Marilyn Monroe was in "Some Like It Hot" with Tony Curtis, not Tony Randall.:o
Tony Curtis was in "The Bad News Bears Go to Japan" with Regis Philbin.
And Regis Philbin has hosted The Walt Disney Christmas Day Parade many times with Kermit the Frog...
Surely Disney would grant that... I would hope with Disney buying The Muppets that they would maintain an easy partnership with The Jim Henson Company. No matter who owns what, people are always going to see all The Muppets from whatever production (Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, The Muppet Show...
