Hey- I happen to like some of those shows. LOL!
(Depends on which ones though- ha ha)
But yeah- I am also anxiously anticipating the release of Season 4 of The Muppet Show on DVD (hopefully with some really cool bonus features- like say the "Of Muppets and Men" special or maybe "The Muppets Go...
This raises a question. If Roosevelt Franklin and Kingston Livingston III are meant to be "black" characters and Harvey Kneeslapper and Prairie Dawn and Betty Lou are meant to be "white" characters- what are orange-colored Ernie and yellow-colored Bert supposed to be? Don't tell me they...
I can't believe I forgot a few of my favorite series in my earlier post.
I also have
Swamp Thing (the 1990 cartoon series)- the complete series on DVD (this wasn't too hard as there were only 5 episodes for the series- but the officially released DVD is out of print now, so it can be a bit...
Garfield and Friends will probably always be my favorite animated version of Garfield (along with his specials), but I have also been enjoying this CGI version of Garfield. So nice to see a cartoon on Cartoon Network that I actually want to watch.:)
Oh yeah- and the last DVD I bought was ALF Seasons 1-4 on DVD (only because I found them all at a super good price- basically all 4 seasons of the show for the price of what one season usually goes for- Target had a great deal on this. Don't know if it's still going though.)
Okay- I just caught that this thread is the song you're currently listening to, not necessarily the one stuck in your head. And that can be fairly annoying to have a song stuck in your head playing while you're trying to listen to another song.;)
But as far as music I've been listening to- I...
Lately it's been "Come Sail Away" by Styx after getting introduced to it through a Christian parody by ApologetiX (I learn a lot of songs I never knew before through them- lol):)
Also "John Wayne Gacy, Jr." by Sufjan Stevens just because the last line hits me so hard spiritually...
and "This...
Whenever it's snowing (this especially applies if you live in a place where this is a fairly rare occurance) and you have to go out driving it and you just automatically start hearing "We Need a Little Christmas" and envision Fozzie, Kermit and Gonzo and the gang riding through the snow to Ma...
Hmm- TV show seasons on DVD- I've got quite a few.
And right off the bat I will have to mention MacGyver and Full House- I did have the whole series for the former and a good few for the latter, but wound up selling them a while back. Whenever I have the money to spare, I'll probably get them...
Wow. This has been really nice reading through this thread. Everyone has had a lot of good insights into things regarding the discussion of religion and faith in the public forum. All I want to say about this is that there are always extremes in any side of anything. For both Christian groups...
I'm also a big fan of the Ernest P. Worrell character and his many movies, TV show and other appearances. By the way, has anyone ever confirmed the Jim Henson cameo in "Ernest Goes to Camp"? IMDB.com says he supposedly played a Minor in an uncredited role. (I'm guessing maybe they meant miner.):D
I would say Mr. Noodle is Elmo's imaginary friend who resides in Elmo's World. The funny thing is though- Elmo does receive e-mail from Big Bird, Snuffy, Bert and Ernie, etc. within Elmo's World. And Bert has visited Elmo's World in "The Street We Live On" special (and he wondered how to get out...
