I remember he showed up at Charlie's Restaurant and Grover(of course) was his waiter. He kept ordering hot dogs. After 3 or 4, Grover said he wouldn't bring anymore unless he eats the ones he's already got. The Count then hypnotizes Grover into bringing him more hot dogs. Then it speeds up...
Off the top of my head:
"My Favorite Number is Six" by Bert
"Martian Beuty(9)"
"Candy Man(8)"
"King of 8"
"Alligator King and his Seven Sons"
"Pinball Count"
"It's A Lovely 11 Morning"
"6 Cookies" by Cookie Monster
"Racing Cars Counting" (I don't know what else to call it)
"Ten Tiny...
I finally got to pick up this DVD (just got released here in Canada). I enjoyed this for the most part. Seeing Bert "Doin The Pigeon" was cool. I like the "Do De Rubber Duck" segment.
Even though the classic segments were few, it was enjoyable, especially the extended pinball sequence...
I don't know if this counts but what about the Ernie & Bert sketch where Ernie brough home some licorice. He gave one piece to Bert and one for himself. Bert's was longer, so Ernie cut of a piece of Bert's and ate it. Then Ernie's was too long so he cut another piece and ate it. This...
My favorite line was at the end, when Cookie Monster had eaten almost all or Gordon and Susan's car. Susan says "Our insurance company will never believe this".
I believe the song is called "Chanson D'Amour". I remember they did this on the last episode of "Are Your Being Served?" and I remember the first time I watched it, I immediately flashed back to Crazy Harry doing just what you described. I can't recall any more details of the sketch itself...
I don't know if this counts, but what about the Johnathan Winters episode where the gypsy puts a curse on the show and at the end, everyone starts talking swedish. Hilarious to hear Kermit speaking Swedish(or was it Mock Swedish?)
The lobster one was good, but my favorite was the "Chocolate Moose" one. When he beckons "Moose-Moose", I just crack up.
Another good one was when he was using a coffee perculator, and all of the sudden, he had one growing out of his head, and then the Vet's Hospital gang shows up.
And...
Hey guys. I was wondering if anyone could help. I am thinking about getting some Sesame Street DVD's. I know two I already want(What's the name of that song? and Put Down the Duckie). But I was wondering if anyone could give me an over song/sketch listing of the following DVD's. Basically I...
I remembered another one, the one with the Hawaiin Pig.
Nurse Janice: I think he's homesick.
Dr. Bob: Well this will make him feel better (humms and waves his hands over the patient)
Nurse Piggy: What is that?
Dr. Bob: Swaying palms.
Dr. Bob: I think he's suffering from a severe napple...
MY favorites would be anything involving Grover or Cookie Monster.
I love the "Grover the waiter" sketches. They are always funny. The skits he did with Kermit were always good too(like when he would try to sell him something he didn't need like earmuffs). Or just the general skits where...
I don't know if it's the same one, but I do remember one sketch where Kermit and the 3 little pigs were auditioning for a "big bad wolf" for their play. The first was bad and a wolf, but he wasn't big. The second was big and a wolf, but not bad. The third was big and bad, but not a wolf(he...
What are some of your favorite Vet's hospital lines/sketches?
My favorite would have to be when Kermit was on the bed(when he twisted his flipper). Some of the great lines were:
(After Piggy pours her heart out to Kermit)
Nurse Janice: What do you think is wrong with him?
Dr. Bob...
My favorite was actually a Cookie Monster sketch where he came into a baker's looking for something that rhymes with "buy" and is delicious. After eating the letter 'I' in the sign and the baker's tie, Guy Smiley walks in, repeatedly saying he wants to "buy a pie". Suddenly Cookie realizes...
I seem to recall at least one episode where Oscar got the "grouch flu" which made him be nice to everyone. I think he was over it by the end of the episode. I can't remember when it aired but I think it was late 70's-early 80's.
This also had a typical Muppet ending to the sketch when they wondered what to call what they had just done.
Gonk: Let's call this co-operation.
Geffle: No, let's call it Shirley.
Correction on this. I just saw the episode again. It actually goes like this...
Pig Soldier #1: How goes the night?
Pig Soldier #2: Dark....Dark but still.
Pig Soldier #1: Still what?
Pig Soldier #2: Still dark.
