There's a new trailer to the Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer video game out online right now. It's pretty awesome....http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?r=1&type=wmv&id=17231

But speaking of the F4 sequel, I raising the stakes on my version of it for Muppet Central by adding Ben 10 to the group of secondary franchises that I'll be writing into the tale. The events in that particular story will follow the ones that'll take place in the third Spidey/Muppet crossover, in the sense of the Tennysons' involvement with C.O.V.N.E.T.

Just a reminder that later this month, around the 23rd, will be the start of my dedication (or celebration) for the upcoming release of Spider-Man 3 and my version of the movie, "The Spectacular" (a Spidey/Muppets crossover).

I'll be starting a new thread for the "event", which will have these things posted:

MARVELOUS Mini tales relating to the big story.

More of my fan-made posters that I started making from last year.

Songs based on the soundtracks to the first two Spidey films, as well as from the Muppet movies in the past and the television shows included into the story (almost all will be "performed" by the Electric Mayhem).

Special interviews with the "cast" by Kermit the Frog and a special guest reporter.

A repost of the first Spidey/Muppets story, "The Amazing", which will include "deleted scenes", the commentary, and a somewhat "behind the scenes" look at the tale.

An extended version of the second crossover, "The Amazing...Sequel", that will reveal a hidden villain who will play an important role in the third story. Included will be the same "bonus material" for the repost of "The Amazing".

My version of the special footage that was recently released online.

And other MARVELOUS stuff.:excited:

So, for those that want to join in on the fun, don't forget....March 23rd!:smile:

Hmmm... Instead of new threads, I'd recommend you bump up the old ones, and add "Extra Footage" or something to that effect in the optional Title field before going on to add the text of your post itself.
I know from experience with various frustrated failed fic attempts over the past months. Looking forward to it and whatever version of Labyrinth/Muppets/Ghost Rider you finally settle on spinning.

Actually, it might be best if I repost it all into one new thread, because theprawncracker's (a.k.a. Ryan) awesome story, "Old Friends Who've Just Met", will be reposted and included into the thread as well, due to the involvement of his two original characters, Butch and Clyde, in the upcoming crossover.

I think I should mention with this news that I plan on creating a character for P.C. who's exclusive to the tale and a C.O.V.N.E.T. member named "Agent Ryan" who will help Ed Singer, Rentro (a.k.a. Bobo the Bear), Butch, and Clyde hunt down and destroy the symbiote that attaches to Spider-Man and then goes on Eddie Brock, creating Venom.

Hey... MW, did you see the new episode of American Dragon last weekend? It was sort of a storyline ender not sure if that was the last episode or if there's more left since they keep hyping the Season 2 stuff on ToonDisney as Jake having a rival to theAmDrag title in his sister.

Anyway, without giving away too much... The thirteen Aztec skulls were found and gathered... The Huntsclan's plans came to fruition... Rose betrayed Jake... And now, both the Huntsclan and Rose are gone forever, at least the Rose that was Rose.

I've been hearing about this episode that supposed to finish off the series, but I had no idea it was coming that soon. The viewing guide for my cable system has been all screwed up for the past few days (my local provider can't seem to keep up with the schedule), so I'm having a little trouble finding out when everything's coming on. I almost missed Catwoman on AMC this past Saturday and Sunday nights.:smile:

That sounds like great place to end the series to me. But, according to Wikipedia's article on the show, they have still got some more episodes scheduled to air by this June, when the series comes to its final episode.

To be honest, I've been trying to keep up more with the new season of Kim Possible rather than Jake Long lately. I missed this past Saturday night's new episode, because Stan Lee's Mosaic (an animated film featuring the voice of Anna Paquin--Rogue from the X-Men films--as a chameleon-like superheroine) came on Cartoon Network and cut my viewing time on KP. Luckily, they're broadcasting a marathon of the new season on Toon Disney sometime by the end of the month, so that'll help me keep up with the eps I missed.

I'll try to keep up with the future episodes of J.L. before the show reaches its end this June though.:smile:

Yeah... I watched Mosaic last Saturday too, a very good movie I think it has potential as a probable new addition to Toonami should it be spun off into animated series status.
Please don't tell me you actually watched Catwoman, that movie was a ticking timebomb from the moment it was announced and explained away with the plot synopsis.

The KP marathon's scheduled for March 26, at 5 PM, starting with the second movie So The Drama to be followed by the first three episodes.
I'm trying to keep up with everything... Here's my current slate of shows in terms of animated fare.
Lunatics Unleashed Season 2 and Winks Club Season 3 at 8 AM on Saturdays on WB/CW and Fox respectively.
Good thing the former's on repeats of the second batch of episodes.
Power Rangers Operation Overdrive, when it airs on Friday nights or Saturday morning, I'm in class Monday nights so I have to catch it as it repeats on the weekend.
Legion of Superheroes and The Batman from 10 to 11 on CW.
Pokemon on CN, Battle Frontier's finished but there's a movie from that journey's era that'll debut on March 27.
Yu-Gi-Oh from the beginning on Fox now from 11 to 12 AM/PM. They're in what was termed Season 2 by US airings, Storyline 1 by my own definiton.
Jake Long of course.
Naruto and Onepiece from 9 to 10 PM.
Waiting till April for Yu-Gi-Oh GX to come back in repeats to Toonami...
That and I'm angry that they brought back that Bobobobobo doody, bumping out Zatch Bell.

Take care buddy.

Yeah, I feel the same way about Catwoman, but I felt like there's no harm in at least checking it out. It is a terrible, campy flick to watch, but what man can resist seeing Halle Berry in that outfit?:flirt:

I almost did think Mosaic was a new series to be aired on Toonami, until I heard that Anna Paquin was the voice of the main character and thought, "There's no way an Oscar-nominated actress like her can go on doing a kids show." It was kind of sad when Mosaic and his father were killed at the end. I was hoping he would like come back sometime by the end, but they instead ended it on her announcing that she's going to be Hamlet. Oh, well. Maybe that's a sign for either a sequel or a new series on Cartoon Network.

Half of the shows you just listed are ones that I need to remember to start watching more often, especially the ones airing on The CW. I've also been keeping up with new eps of Ben 10 on Saturday mornings (not to mention large quantities of sleep). I hope this Saturday morning I can get back to watching Loonatics, The Batman, and Legion of Superheroes. Watched the first episode of the new Power Rangers series, and it looks pretty cool.:smile:

Well, Maggy Nelson actually said she would be the next Mosaic at the very end of the movie. Who knows, maybe Stan the Man shops this off to CN to become their next big hit.

The CW shows are airing the episodes that were new in late January through to February now, so it's a good chance for us to catch up on anything we may have missed.
Lunatics Season 2... My wish was half granted, they've been bringing in more characters based on the classic Looney Tunes core... But it's gone awrye somewhere and I'm kind of wondering just what they're doing.
Yosemite Sam as Opiphiuate Sam.
Elmer Fudd as Electron Fudd, space bounty hunter.
Marvin the Martian as Melvin the Martian (Duck Dodgers series reference there).
Sylvester as Sylth Vester.
All of these fit perfectly as villains, not to mention Rocky and Mugsy as Stoney the Stone and Bugsy the Bug.
Though I kind of think Sylth Vester could be paroled and become part of the team...

But these are the ones I truly just don't understand.
Granny as Queen Grannicus.
Porky Pig as The Pink Pug, mobster boss.
Pepe Le Pew as Pierre Le Pew, crooked fight manager.
These are being turned into villains?

Oh well...

Funny how some parts of that show are awesomely creative, while others are lacking some. I still watch it because it's the only cartoon on television nowadays that relates to Looney Tunes. But like you said, who can explain why Pepe Le Pew is a crooked human fight manager and Porky Pig is a mobster boss?:smile:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have some news related to the Spidey/Muppets celebration that's coming on March 23rd.
In addition to the materials that I mentioned a few posts earlier, I will unveil another marvelous treat for everyone to look at every now and then. It will be profiles to the characters that have made or will make appearances in the series. These profiles will be complete with full statistics on the characters (bringing up things like weight, height, powers, weaknesses, etc.) as well as photos of the characters themselves and other people and things that relate to them.
Profiles for my character (Sean Thomas) and my fictional sister (Lori Thomas) will be included as well. And you all will finally see the faces behind these characters, too. In my case, you all will see the actual face of the person you refer to as "muppetwriter" or "MW" almost everyday.:smile:
A friend of mine from MySpace is willing to be the model for Lori Thomas. Her name is Alissa, and she's as much of a fan of comic books as I am. Alissa perfectly fits the description of Lori Thomas. She's a real-life photographer and lives in New York (go figure!). So every time you think of Lori, you'll think of her.:smile:
If you're signed on to MySpace and want to see Alissa's profile, just click on the link below. If you don't, no worries...I'll ask her if I can borrow her best photo and show it to everyone. She's just as gorgeous as I imagined Lori to be.
