I borrowed some pics from Alissa, who's really thrilled about being part of my fanfic series (she even complimented by saying that I should have my own comic book). So, for the first time ever, here's a view of Miss Lori Thomas.

Haha! By next month, we'll both be the same age, at least until her b-day comes sometime later in the year and then she'll be a year older than me again. Of course, that makes sense in regards to the continuity of "The Marvelous Muppets" series, because Lori Thomas is older than my character, Sean Thomas.

Alissa told me a funny thing earlier today. She says that her 10-year-old brother is a fan of both Marvel and Muppets, which could only mean that this fanfic series will be a treat for him to read. And I know I've done my job as a writer, if I can capture the interest of someone that age.

So... That'd make your friend's little brother a smidge older... But wouldn't that make him, Muppetized of course, perfect for the role of Stan, your character's young cousin?

I never thought of that, Count. I haven't told her yet about Stanley, the cousin of our fictional characters. It'll be interesting to know how she'll react if I were to tell her that her character's cousin is the Muppetized version of her real-life brother.

Hey, everybody. Got some important news.

Looking at my schedule for the summer to probably the rest of the year, the upcoming third Spidey/Muppets crossover might be last "MM" story I'll do for a while. I've got two other fanfic series lined up for two other message boards that I've been going to, and I've been putting them off for too long. So after I'm finished with "The Spectacular", I'll be taking a break from "The MARVELOUS Muppets." When I'm finished working on at least a few stories for the two fanfic series that I have to get on, I'll get back to "MM", starting with the sequel to the F4/Muppets crossover (which will feature characters from Farscape and The Dark Crystal).

But you won't be hearing the last from me 'til then. On certain occasions, I will pop up with a chapter for a fanfic story that I'm doing for Dinosaurs, which will be sort of a remake to the two-part episode, "Nuts to War", as well as a spoof to the 300 movie. I'm calling it, "Tale of the 300 Idiots...I mean, Pangaeans".

Tomorrow is the day!

"The Spectacular Spidey/Muppets Celebration" will begin exactly at 4p.m. (3p.m. for any Central Time folks). The celebration will open with either a new "MARVELOUS Mini" tale or a few interviews with story characters.

All of the future updates for the next Spidey/Muppets tale will go directly to the "Celebration" thread, which means this one will be unused for the next months. If anyone has anything to ask me regarding the crossover until the celebration begins tomorrow, just post the question here and I'll respond as soon as I can. Otherwise, once the celebration begins, I'm only going to be handling one "MARVELOUS Muppets" thread from the time it starts to the time it ends (May 4th).

Hope we all have fun tomorrow!

It feels kind of good posting back in the old "What's Next...?" thread again. I feel like I've just got back from vacation or something.

Anyways, as you can tell by now, the third Spidey/Muppets crossover is up and being posted in its own thread. I've chosen not to brand it with the "MARVELOUS" title, because most already know by now what the series is titled and might be just interested in knowing which crossover it is. I'll be doing the same for other "MM" stories as well.

Speaking of which, next month is the time when another Marvel Comics movie is released, and as I have promised, there will be a story following it. Although if I'm still working on the third Spidey/Muppets crossover by then, I'll just postpone further into the year. It'll eventually get done nevertheless, as will the Storyteller/Labyrinth/Ghost Rider story that I've been promising for months now.

Meanwhile, in the alternate universe of "Sesame, DC", I'm waiting for the right moment to start on that Teen Titans/Sesame Street story, in which a new character will be introduced.

This new character for "Sesame, DC" will replace Lori Thomas as the leading female role of the series, since she is deceased in the continuity of the fanfic series. She's based on a real-life friend of mine named Sarah Jones, which will be the name of the character herself. Sarah will be a Daily Planet reporter in the series.

Here are a few pictures of what Sarah looks like:

I'll have more details on Sarah's character later.

And may I say... It feels good to have this thread back up.
Wanted to ask, do you want to have the third Spider-Man/Muppets crossover added to the Spectacular Celebration? Would feel right to have all three tales together... But maybe that kind of joining should be left for when the DVD and your extended Spidey/Muppets 3 comes out next year.

In other news... Have you been watching Smallville or The Batman? They're bringing the team together, slowly but surely.
So far, Smallville has Green Arrow, Cyborg, Aquaman, and Impulse as a group, Clark on his own, and even the Martian Man Hunter made an appearance.
The Batman ended its season with a two-parter where John Jones arrived from Denver and helped Bruce defeat an alien invasion, before bringing him to the league though noone else was present.

Last... Since you plan to draw me into the role of Michael Morbius and kind of merge us into one... Wanted to ask if you'd be up for a bit of creative collaboration. Who knows, might even help me get over my dissatisfaction/creative blahs.

Hope to hear from you soon buddy, and have faith true believer.

Thanks, Count. But I think "The Spectacular" story deserves its own thread, just in case there is an extended version planned. I haven't been watching much of "Smallville" as of late, but I have watched much of "The Batman" and the Martian Manhunter episode was excellent.

And on the matter of your creative collaboration, I'll get back to you on that in response to the private message you'd sent me.

Another update for the second F4/Muppets crossover:

I plan on using some Southern, hillbilly-type Muppet characters for a scene in the story that involves the "Crystal of Thra" crashing to Earth in a Southern state. I was thinking of using characters from The Muppet Musicians of Bremen, but I haven't really seen the special to get the characters down for the story.

If anyone has any suggestions of any characters I could use for this one scene, I'll be happy to take them.
