Yeah I understand what you're saying Sarge. Others have noted before this point that it doesn't actually claim to be the "complete" first season in the absolute sense.
That's just a convenient loophole so nobody can accuse Disney of advertising it as complete and uncut. It's fair enough technically though others may not see it that way.

The 2nd Season DVD WILL be complete... and I hope so.
And I hope the 1st Season DVD would be the only one of the Muppet Show Season Sets that is incomplete.

We can only hope but I suspect that cuts will probably be made to other sets. Don't quote me on that though.

Just because Disney is a big company doesn't mean that they would own the rights to all these songs. I'm confused as to what your saying here.
