Hmmm... We'll have to figure that one out later.

Erwhingo got stung by the same poisoned barb a few months later. The U-Muns are a shadowy underground race of beings... When their last scout died, they feared the worst. They resorted to having secret meetings down below in the underground bowels of the schoolgrounds. My little bat spies caught wind of one meeting just last night.

Seems they're reckoning on stealing a slice of the Quartzen Clockinheimer, which powers the school's clock tower, not to mention the wellspring of the school's protective magics. Unfortunately, they saw you as a threat and tried to kill you off. When they found out that it was Christy/Nicki Cole they had in their clutches, they decided to ransom you off to get the slice of empowered stone they needed for their race to continue living.

It's very convaluted, it's got a plot that not even JRR Tolkien could follow.
But we have to follow this and undo their warring faction before they aim to do away with the memory of Christy, not to mention the rest of our magical and possibly normal world.

Nicky: I follow you there. I do remember some things from the magic school.

*Jana walks in and tugs on her mother's pants leg. Nicky looks at her blankly for a moment*

*Mac picks up the girl and takes her off to the kitchen*

Nicky: *remembers* Jana! Now I remember! We better hurry.

Christy: *resurfaces for a moment* I'm nothing more than a shadow. Nicky is someone to be considered a threat too. But they're not going to touch her I don't think because she won't remember anything past when Beau and I first married.

Nicky: *Christy disappears* Sorry to do that girl. You need to save your strength...and our memories. Adam? What do we do?

Jack: *still on the galloping moose* I really am hungry T.M.!

Tellemichus: And now I'm a trademark?

Jack: *shrug* Sure, if this show ever gets off the ground, maybe you will be.

Tellemichus: QUIET! You're breaking the illusion!!

To be honest Nicki, I'm not sure... Would ask Headmistress, but she's gone off on some sort of wizarding college reunion this weekend. We should post guards at the clock tower, who knows at what time the U-Muns will strike.

*Small joke.
But if they think they got rid of the infamous Christy Moppet-Cole... Then at least we have an advantage. Come on, we can get a few of the ol' props we kept from our myrthful youth *Mischievous twinkle.
We'll show those U-Muns that they're not winning this round.

*OOC: For whoever's confused, the whole thing with the U-Muns is from the so-far revealed plot development for The Power of the Dark Crystal, sequel to The Dark Crystal, currently in motion picture development.

Nicky: I've got just the guards. None of your Magic School people. Too noticable and bundle a covert operation. Mac, I want Friggin, Matty, and Vic if you can find him no Kyle! on the South end of the building. Place Good Eye, Big Tom, and Dooley on the North. I want everyone about twenty paces from the building and hidden. Keep a sharp eye and have your blades sharpened.

Mac: Aye Cap'n. Were be you and me postioning ourselves?

Nicky: Why next to the Quartzen Clockheimer. I've gotta idea as to how to stay strongest and hidden until the last moment. Adam, I'm leaving the East and West sides to you. This is gonna be fun.

OCC: Any other Mopfam members are free to join us on our little escapade here. Just hop in.

Aye gal... I be joining ye later today. Have to fetch some of me old crew as well to watch the east and the western sides. Will report back if there be anything to report.

Later that night.

Nicky: *with a hammer and chisel hitting away at the Quartz*

Mac: *opens one eye from his post sitting on the floor leaning against the wall* I thought we were trying to prevent someone from carting off with some of that.

Nicky: *a piece falls into her hands* Aye, but this hunk of rock attached to the clock isn't what it seems and is more powerful than anything.

Mac: Meaning?

Nicky: I'm gonna eat this *holds up a sliver of the rock*

Mac: You feelin okay Girlie? You must be hanging around that blue brother-in-law of yours way to much.

Nicky: *rolls eyes* No harnessing the power of this thing is amazing. Now trying to acquire the entire rock would kill me. This is what Randall was really after. He just wanted me out of the way first. Adam and I are the only ones who really know the power in this thing. And it isn't running the clock.

Mac: So you eat that chunk of rock what'll happen?

Nicky: *looks at the crystal in her hand* Not sure exactly. It'll bring Christy back. I barely even feel her now. *grows quiet and blocks Adam from contacting her via her mind. Takes a deep breath and pops in the shard swallowing it whole*

Mac:*watches carefully*

Nicky: *closes her eyes and falls*

Mac: *rushes over* Cap'n you okay?

What's that Claus? She what? Oh, OK... She'll be all fright. Just takes a bit of a shock to the system if that piece o' quartz gets swallowed in one go. Trust me, it's OK she didn't let me talk her out of it. Frankly, I would've encouraged her if it'd bring Christy back. It might... You never fully know when dealing with stuff like this.
At least now those U-Muns won't be able to steal the fragment they wanted. But we should stay on guard should anyone else come awaltzin' in tryin' to swipe the whole rock.

Mac: C'mon...c'mon...wake up.

Mother: ooo...my head. I do wish someone would be ready with a pillow when that happens.

Nicky: *off to the side grinning*

Mac: Okay, ya know I don't like hocus pocus. What's going on here.

Nicky: I dare ya to try and run me through.

Mac: It worked??

Mother: It worked. I'm cured. *eyes sparkling* And more. *thinks* Adam...Adam...I'm fine. Just wanted to let you know. How are things down there. Any sign of them? Lemme know. I'm gonna try a few things now that I've ate the legendary quartz.
