Great chapter! I like how Kermit got frustrated with Big Bird, it was funny. Anyway, I still am waiting to see how our fuzzy blue monster friends came to be on Sesame Street. Keep writing, it's great!

Yep, lots of fun. I sometimes, sadly, forget thaat's where Kermit got his start.

I love how Oscar's mom was one of the first - and I'm glad you have Gordon and Susan showing a little surprise at some of these creatures - a "what's this?!" "Wow, look at that!" type of mentality. I'd have been very tempted to give it the old Star Trek: "Ho, hum, there's an intriguing new life form down there. What does everyone want for breakfast? <yawn>" kind of attitude.

Gordon and Susan, while not overly shocked, are showing a very good level of surprise - a little amazed and a little perplexed by all these creatures, yet w/Susans's love for these animals in the forest & her talking tot hem and so on when little it makes a lot of sense why they can eventually accept the creatures quite easily. And, I never thought of them as BB's parents - and yet, it makes so much sense, and adds an even more tedner and touching aspect to Susan's motherly, "Big Bird...Mr. Hooper's not coming back" in the episode w/the death of Mr. Hooper. (Edit: And I just realized, the hurricane sequence they showed w/Gordon consoling him after it. And there's probably more back in the nether recesses of my mind. )

Yes, Susan and Gordon were meant to be BB's surrogate parents on Sesame Street. They were legally responsible for him from what I understand. SO this story is sticking to the truth of what happened on the show.

That was another great chapter. I liked how Kermit knew Susan when she was a little girl. It definitely shows that Kermit had been around since black and white TV.

These will still contain little of the stories and chapters. So keep reading and don't worry I'll have the chapters back.

Another day on Sesame Street was coming around. A new friend and other animals had moved on the street. Goats, bears, pigs, bunnies, rabbits and other creatures. One certain frog had moved in with Susan and Gordon. Since Big Bird had made his new nest he hadn't lived with Gordon and Susan for a quit some time. Being a frog, Kermit hadn't lived inside....never. So this was a new experince for him.

"So Kermit what had you been up to latly?" asked Susan.

"Nothing but swimming and eatting flys, burgers and pizza. Thats about it" said Kermit hopping around the apartment.

"A frog eatting burgers and pizza?" said Gordon scraching his head. "Haven't heard that one."

"Hey I have to eat something. Flies get old."

"I see." said Gordon still scraching his head.

Big Bird come into Susan and Gordon's apartment for a cup of tea and some birdseed.

"Hi everyone. Where's Mr. Looper?" said Big Bird.

"Thats Mr. Hooper, Big Bird." said Susan.

"He's too busy watching the store." said Gordon.

"Hey big fella." said Kermit almost getting stepped on by Big Bird.

"Oh hey Mr. Kermit." said Big Bird waving.

"You can call me just Kermit."

"Ok Mr. Kermit."

"Sheesh."

"Susan? Susan?" Big Bird calling from the kitchen table.

"I'm right here Big Bird. What is it?" asked Susan sitting down.

"Uh are you going to show me a letters."

"Thats "going to show you some letters" and yes I am." said Susan. "Gordon could you get me your breifcase."

"Sure honey." hands her the breifcase.

"Thank you. Now this Big Bird is the letter A.

"Who would of thought teaching a bird to read." said Kermit.

"And who would of know that frogs love burgers and pizza." said Gordon.

"I told you. Frogs like other stuff too. Sheesh...." said Kermit hopping off the table out the window.

*funky music ends the skit*

Chapter 9

Another day at Sesame Street was just awakeing. The sun coming up inbetween the two brick red buildings made a weird but nice shadow on the sidewalk in the little playground. Oscar had just made his sardine ice cream mornin' sandwich when a family of weird but hairy creatures came pulling up in a car. Who could this be? Lets find out.

"Who in the world could that be?" said Oscar almost dropping his breakfeast.

"Come on dear we can't be late for the new movin day." said a blue woman creature.

"Ok mommy I'm coming. Whoa, this is a nice place. Where we'll be liviing?" asked the little blue hairy creature.

"Uh...I...think over there." said the blue hairy woman pointing over another apartments.

"Oh that one." said the little blue creature.

"Yes that one. Come on now we need to start getting out stuff up to our new apartment. Move it little one." said the blue hairy woman.

"Wake up everyone! Come quick!" said Oscar raising his voice.

Gordon, Susan, Bob, Mr. Hooper and Big Bird came running outside in each of their night time clothes. They all seemed to be mad at Oscar for waking them up at this time of morning.

"What is it now Oscar?" asked Gordon.

"Yea, why did you wake us up again?" said Bob. "Your makine me mad Oscar. You need to stop this."

"I was leeping. Having dreams of birdseed." said Big Bird yawning.

"Theres some new neigbors over there. They just got here and there moving in." said Oscar.

"And this couldn't wait until noon?" said Mr. Hooper.

"Uh Oscar?" said Susan.

"Uh yea?" said Oscar.

"Your changing colors on us." said Susan.

"What do you mean?" said Oscar.

"Look." said Susan pointing to his fur.

"Oh that. It has something to do with what I'm using when I take my mud bathes." said Oscar.

"OK Oscar, we're all tired and going back to bed. You do that again we're going around in circles." said Gordon.

"Yea yea yea whatever." said Oscar going back into his trashcan.

That afternoon the new neighbors had a tour of their new surroundings. They cheaked out the Hooper's Store, the playground and 1 2 3 Sesame Street stoops. What a new family had moved in? Who could these creature be? Warewolfs? Vampires? Grouches? Humans? What could they be? Lets finde out.
Big Bird notices the new kid out walking around and goes to greet his self to the new kid. "Hey there. You new to the neighborhood?" asked Big Brid.

"Yes I am. And who are you?" asked the little blue creature.

"Big Bird."

"Yes I know your a big bird. But whats your name?" asked little blue creature.

"I said the names Big Bird."

"Oh your name is Big Bird. Big Bird? Thats one weird names."

"Whats your?" ask Big Bird.

"I'm none other then Grover Monster."

"Monster?" said Big Bird a little shakey.

I'm a good monster not a bad one. Even tho I haven't meet one yet."

"Oh you good one. Glad to meet you Grover. Hope we can be friends." said Big Bird.

"I don't see why not." said Grover.

"Oh boy!" said Big Bird all excitedly.

"You should come with me to dinner. My mommy makes the best peanut butter sandwich. Goody!" said Grover pointing over to where he lives.

"I'll see if I can go. Seeing that I'm only 4 years old. They don't let me live my nest." said Big Bird.

"I'm only 3 right now and look at me." said Grover.

"Yea but my mommy and daddy might say no." said Big Bird.

"I only have a mommy. No daddy. I think he left or something. Don't know." said Grover tearing up.

"Its ok. Sorry to make you cry." said Big Brid also tearing up.

"Oh its alright. I know that I have a daddy somewhere." said Grover sniffing up the runny nose.

"I'll be seeing you soon. I hope so." said Big Bird to Grover.

"Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! I meed this big bird and thats his name." said Grover running towards his room.

"Thats great Grover honey. Maybe we can meet the others later." said Mommy Mosnter.

We'll see you next time. Bye!
