Cute. One thing though, did Ernie call himself "Ernestine"? Because that's a girl's name and also the name of his baby niece.
Good chap though.

This was a cute chapter Kyle! I liked the squirrel sisters! I especially liked the song, did you write that yourself? It was very good! Anyway, are we going to see any appearances of fuzzy, blue monsters soon? I'd sure love to know how they came to Sesame Street. Or a certain green frog. But, it's your story and it's going very well, so bring in whoever you want!
Thats one of there songs. I got it from a website and copy and pasted. Thanks Beth.

Again, good stuff Kyle.

But... The names of the Squirrelles are: Rhonda, the lead singer who've you gotten named Angela; Crystal, and Darlene.
Hope this helps.
Thanks Ed. I got those names from a website. They had said they didn't know if those were the names so used them. I'll change it if I can.

OK, hope you post more story soon. As for the squirrels... They're another entry into the celebrity spoof character file, as a spoof of the rock and roll girl group from the 60's named the Shirrelles. The Muppet Listing previously had them as one single entry under "The Squirrelles", but MuppetDude stepped up and provided the names of all three.
Lookin' forward to seeing your fuzzy and blue buddies whenever it is they show up.

Chapter 8

Another day had came and gone. It was night time on the street with hopes and dreams. Everyone was having a bar-b-q out in the lot of Sesame Street. Gordon, Susan, Bob, Bob's uncle Wally and Hooper. Big Bird was sound asleep. He had a long day before going into town to pick up some stuff for his new home. Big Bird had built a nest out of old dead limbs, leavfs and mud. He was so tired that he didn't want to stay up and other then that he was still at the age he needs all the sleep he can get.

"This is nice." said Bob. "Glad you invited my uncle over."

"Uh yea. Thanks Gordon and Susan." said Wally.

"Oh anytime." said Susan.

"Since we had moved in here 3 years ago I figued it would be nice to do to invite you over." said Gordon.

"Bob introuced me to Olivia and Oscar. I still haven't meet Little Bird." said Wally.

"Thats Big Bird now uncle." said Bob. "I'll show you Big Bird tomorrow."

"Oh Big Bird? Sounds like this bird is big." said Wally.

"He's not that big. He's still pretty little just the size of a great dane." said Bob.

After everyone had a great time listening to music on the trasiter radio and eatting. Everyone went on home. It was getting later in the evening and its good to have sleep. You could stunt your growth. (something funny that SS might would of said back in the 60's) The next day the sun shone through the trees that filled out the back lot of Sesame Street. The buildings and all with the sun shining over them and into the windows.

"Good morning honey." said Gordon kissing Susan who was at the stove cooking some breakfest.

"What would you like Gordon?" asked Susan flipping pancakes.

"Uh anything sounds good to me." said Gordon reading the newspaper. "Why look at that. Theres some kind of construchion going on over in the sesame forest."

"What?" asked Susan all suprised. "What are they doing over there?"

"There constructing a new store. The "Clothes are Us" store." said Gordon.

"We have to stop them. I used to play there as a kid. I grew up down by the pond." said Susan.

"You grew up by a pond?" said Gordon.

"Sure. I grew up playing in the pond. I had all types of animal friends. One of my freinds was a frog." said Susan. "We have to go down there and stop them."

"I have to go to work." said Gordon getting up from the table really quietly.

"Today's saturday. Your not going anywhere. We're going. Come on grab your stuff. We're off on adventure." said Susan all excitedly.

"Oh. Who would of thought that having a life with the woman that I loved. It would come down to this. Looking for a frog. What fun." said Gordon sadly.

I think I feel Kermie coming on!!! Yay! Oh, by the way, I think I figured out the "choppiness" that I was referring to before. You sometimes don't have complete sentences. You turn one complete sentences into two incomplete ones with a period. Here is an example:
"Oh. Who would of thought that having a life with the woman that I loved. It would come down to this. Looking for a frog. What fun." said Gordon sadly.

Otherwise, nice short chapter.

Hey TA...sorry I haven't been around to give comments on the story. If you've read Friends & Family, it'll explain why I haven't been around.
ANYWAY:
Everything looks great so far! I got a big chuckle from the above quote!
More story please!!

Chapter 8 (continued)

Susan and Gordon didn't have anyone to sit Big Bird so they had to take him along for the ride. So when they got to the contuinon site they found that all the animals were being caged. Felling sorry for her animal friends she Susan knew she had to help them out. So she, Gordon and Big Bird helped out. They each carried one or two caged animals to the car.

"Come on guys. We have to hurry before they see us." said Sasan running over to the car filling each seat.

"Ok honey we're trying our best." said Gordon helping Big Bird carry some.

"Whats going on here? " said a random animal.

"We're saving your from a zoo." said Susan.

"Your doing what?" said the animal 1.

"We don't like seeing or that is I don't like seeing caged animals." said Susan glancing over at Gordon and Big Bird.

"What's your name?" asked one of the animal.

"I'm Susan. This is my husband Gordon and thats our adopted child or as some might say bird, Big Bird."

"Did you say Susan?" said the animal looking at Susan. "But the Susan we know is a little girl."

"I'm all grown up now. I don't live out here with my parents anymore who live right over there." said Susan.

"I kept wondering if that little girl was ever going to play with us again. I figured you didn't like us anymore." said the random animal.

"I would never forget about all my animal friends." said Susan looking around for something.

"What you looking for Susan?" asked Gordon.

"My frog friend. Does he still live near by?" asked Susan.

"Uh..I wouldn't know honey." said Gordon.

"I wasn't asking you honey I was asking him." said Susan pointing to the random animal.

"He should still be around. He was here awhile ago. Can't be certain of him."

"I have to find him." ponders Susan. "Gordon, where's Big Brid?"

"He's right over ther....he was. Big Bird?! Big Bird?! Where are you Big Bird?"

Gordon called out to Big Bird but no respond. Where could Big Bird be? Poor Susan and Gordon were worried about their big feathered friend. Gordon and Susan looked all over the forest but they didn't cheak down at the pond near Susan's parents house. There he was: Big Bird. He had been down at the pond talking to a familer green frog that Susan had been friends ever since she had found him.

"Where did you come from?" asked the green frog.

"My parents." said Big Bird.

"No I mean where did you come from."

"I said mister frog. From my parents. There right over ther..."

"No no no. Why do I have these prombles." said the frog looking at the camera.

"Uh oh? Wheres my mommy? I miss my mommy!" said scared bird starting to cry.

"Oh no please don't cry. I didn't mean to be rude if I was."

"MOMMMY!?" said Big Bird crying loudly.

Thats about the time Gordon and Susan hears a Big Brid's cry out for help. Running over towards the sound, Susan finds her friend and her bird child.

"I was worried about you Big Bird. Why did you wonder off?" asked Susan.

"Oh mommy...." says Big Bird crying.

"It'll be alright Big Bird. You know what you found tho?" said Susan pointing to the green frog.

"What....is....that?" says Big Bird sniffing through his words.

"Thats my friend, Kermit."

"Hey, how did you know my name?" said Kermit.

"You don't remember me? I'm Susan."

"Susan? You don't look like her. She's a little girl." said Kermit.

"Seems know one knows you anymore." says Gordon.

"I grew up Kermit. I'm a grown up not a little girl anymore." said Susan poking Kermit's nose.

"You grew up fast. I thought you forgot about all of us." said Kermit tearing up. "Oh I'm glad to see you again Susan."

"Come on Kermit. We have to save you from all those machines that are wercking ya'lls home. Come home with us." said Susan.

"We got your other friends." said Big Bird.

"Thats we have your friends, Big Bird." said Susan correcting him.

"Come on. Seems we have someone on our trail." said Gordon.

After rescuring her friends from the horrable machines that destrory home for animals just to build stores and others they all sat down for some tea, birdseed and (what frogs seem to like) hamburgers. Seems another day had past just like that. Who would of thought rescuing friends from harms way would make an inserting day at Sesame Street. Have a nice Sunny day. Until next time "see ya'll later."
