Chapter 8 (continued)
Susan and Gordon didn't have anyone to sit Big Bird so they had to take him along for the ride. So when they got to the contuinon site they found that all the animals were being caged. Felling sorry for her animal friends she Susan knew she had to help them out. So she, Gordon and Big Bird helped out. They each carried one or two caged animals to the car.
"Come on guys. We have to hurry before they see us." said Sasan running over to the car filling each seat.
"Ok honey we're trying our best." said Gordon helping Big Bird carry some.
"Whats going on here? " said a random animal.
"We're saving your from a zoo." said Susan.
"Your doing what?" said the animal 1.
"We don't like seeing or that is I don't like seeing caged animals." said Susan glancing over at Gordon and Big Bird.
"What's your name?" asked one of the animal.
"I'm Susan. This is my husband Gordon and thats our adopted child or as some might say bird, Big Bird."
"Did you say Susan?" said the animal looking at Susan. "But the Susan we know is a little girl."
"I'm all grown up now. I don't live out here with my parents anymore who live right over there." said Susan.
"I kept wondering if that little girl was ever going to play with us again. I figured you didn't like us anymore." said the random animal.
"I would never forget about all my animal friends." said Susan looking around for something.
"What you looking for Susan?" asked Gordon.
"My frog friend. Does he still live near by?" asked Susan.
"Uh..I wouldn't know honey." said Gordon.
"I wasn't asking you honey I was asking him." said Susan pointing to the random animal.
"He should still be around. He was here awhile ago. Can't be certain of him."
"I have to find him." ponders Susan. "Gordon, where's Big Brid?"
"He's right over ther....he was. Big Bird?! Big Bird?! Where are you Big Bird?"
Gordon called out to Big Bird but no respond. Where could Big Bird be? Poor Susan and Gordon were worried about their big feathered friend. Gordon and Susan looked all over the forest but they didn't cheak down at the pond near Susan's parents house. There he was: Big Bird. He had been down at the pond talking to a familer green frog that Susan had been friends ever since she had found him.
"Where did you come from?" asked the green frog.
"My parents." said Big Bird.
"No I mean where did you come from."
"I said mister frog. From my parents. There right over ther..."
"No no no. Why do I have these prombles." said the frog looking at the camera.
"Uh oh? Wheres my mommy? I miss my mommy!" said scared bird starting to cry.
"Oh no please don't cry. I didn't mean to be rude if I was."
"MOMMMY!?" said Big Bird crying loudly.
Thats about the time Gordon and Susan hears a Big Brid's cry out for help. Running over towards the sound, Susan finds her friend and her bird child.
"I was worried about you Big Bird. Why did you wonder off?" asked Susan.
"Oh mommy...." says Big Bird crying.
"It'll be alright Big Bird. You know what you found tho?" said Susan pointing to the green frog.
"What....is....that?" says Big Bird sniffing through his words.
"Thats my friend, Kermit."
"Hey, how did you know my name?" said Kermit.
"You don't remember me? I'm Susan."
"Susan? You don't look like her. She's a little girl." said Kermit.
"Seems know one knows you anymore." says Gordon.
"I grew up Kermit. I'm a grown up not a little girl anymore." said Susan poking Kermit's nose.
"You grew up fast. I thought you forgot about all of us." said Kermit tearing up. "Oh I'm glad to see you again Susan."
"Come on Kermit. We have to save you from all those machines that are wercking ya'lls home. Come home with us." said Susan.
"We got your other friends." said Big Bird.
"Thats we have your friends, Big Bird." said Susan correcting him.
"Come on. Seems we have someone on our trail." said Gordon.
After rescuring her friends from the horrable machines that destrory home for animals just to build stores and others they all sat down for some tea, birdseed and (what frogs seem to like) hamburgers. Seems another day had past just like that. Who would of thought rescuing friends from harms way would make an inserting day at Sesame Street. Have a nice Sunny day. Until next time "see ya'll later."
