The whole idea of the Fastforward series would cause me to disagree.

That one was actually Playmate's idea... which sucks, because they had a whole second line of toys for the FF line, and they got scrapped for the movie line. I think FF's problem was they spend way way way too much time establishing stuff, and by the time they actually had direction, they cancelled it because no one was buying the toys (apparently... they sold pretty well in my area, at any rate. It took me a year to find Donatello). By the end of Fast Forward, the show was actually pretty good. I recommend "Head of State" featuring the return of Baxter Stockman.

The only TMNT merchandise I ever got into would be the 80's figure line of Playmates toys, books, videos, and then anything related to the first two films (TMNT & TMNT: Secret of the Ooze). Perhaps that's why I loved the videogame TMNT: Turtles in Time so much, it fused the first two hit films & the beloved 80's cartoon together.

I liked the new line up until that Ninja Knights and Paleo Patorl crap... though we did get Savanti Romero through that last varient line.

Of course, I would say the Fast Forward ones were the best so far. The sculpts looked EXACTLY like their cartoon counterparts, and not some detatched style guide. I'm disappointed the second series didn't get made....

The new movie ones I don't care for, only because they cost too much, and they clogged it with stupid varients.

To each his own. I prefer the old-school Turtles, no matter how unrealistic they were in comparison to the gritty feel of the comics that the green teens originally came from.

I agree, I like them to:excited: The comics are actually pretty boring to me, as was the new cartoon IMHO. I love the campyness of the 80's turtles...If the first verison of them I saw had not been light and goofy I don't think I would have ever become a fan of them :embarrassed:

I liked the films too. They were corny, but less campy than the cartoon.
