I liked the films too. They were corny, but less campy than the cartoon.
The first movie was the first one I ever went to see when I was little with my daddy. I don't remember it, but my first favorite color was red and my favorite turtle has always been Raphael, so I must have liked it when I was seven :excited:

The good thing about the first turtle movies were that even though I was easy to frighten I don't remember them ever scaring me..You could tell it was just pretend:smile:

And in the second, even Tokka and Razor were adorable in their own ways. You sort of felt sorry for them being used by Shredder.

I heard for the second movie that Rocksteady and Beebop were going to be used for the mutants, but the creaters of the turtles comics did not want to use them as they felt the henchmen in the cartoon series was bad enough.

The second one was alot less violent than the first one, where the first one had the turtles using their weapons and using colorful language. The second one had the turtles not say any fowl language and they did not use their weapons that muich if any. Look at Michaelangelo, he did not even use his nunchucks once in the movie.

I know. But does it matter that the weapons were rarely used? The nature of the ninja is to do what you do and fade away...

And yet, I feel personally that both of the first two films had the same feel as the cartoon!

First movie felt more like a drama/soap opera compared to the second movie which was more light hearted and mixed with more comedy.

The first one had Ralpheal injured and out for part of the movie, Splinter captured, and the turtles lair destroyed. Plus the first one had more bad language than the others.

So? That doesn't mean anything. It just means that the tone changed.

Personally, I like the Third one a little more than the second. If Renet the Time Sourceress were in the third one, the time travelling thing would have made more sense... But at LEAST the third one had Casey Jones in it...
