Believe me, FraggleForever, you earned all 324 of those hugs! WOW! This is such an AMAZING thing to come home to... I am honestly so amazed right now, there's just SO many moments that are just so perfect...
Starting with chapter 10- The song!!!! And the men, those creepy, vile, disgusting men... Comedically slow, but also evil. Oh my gosh...
Chapter 11- The main thing, of course, Kermit's talk with Jim, just blew me away. In KSY Kermit was petrified of Jim- here, he's gotten over his fear of humans and even has a conversation- gets help, even! And just the fact that it's Jim, I mean... But that wasn't the only thing I loved. The first thing to stand out to me was this:
FraggleForever said:
Kermit caught his breath, made sure everyone else did as well, and said,
"Come on guys. Let's save our friends!"
That part in bold is what really jumped at me: he made sure everyone else was okay, too. Truly a leader in the making. And I liked this part, too:
FraggleForever said:
Croaker looked at her admiringly.
"You're so cute when you're sarcastic."
Kermit frowned at Croaker.
Reading that resulted in a strange combination of laughing and squeaking. Good thing no one had to hear it.
Chapter 12- Starting with something that had a similar reaction to that last quote,
FraggleForever said:
Kermit did a double take. "A compliment from you? Wow, that's a first."
"Don't get used to it."
I love it! I absolutely love it. And did I mention that I love it? I also love how "We have time" has turned into something of a running gag- the punchline coming now, when they
don't have time. I also love this part:
FraggleForever said:
"Uh.....boss?"
"What is it?!"
"They outnumber us 100 to 2."
"Oh. Well then, time to run I suppose."
"Couldn't hurt."
It's just such a reversal of which of the men has brains, and it's so comedic!
Chapter 13-
FraggleForever said:
"Oh, that's the guy that helped me. I owe him one."
Again, with Jim! I love it, I especially love "I owe him one." Not sure why, but I do, I just do, so much! And I love the talk about the talent show, and I simply adore this:
FraggleForever said:
"Did you say something?" asked the farmer.
"Uh......woof woof?"
"Hmm...sounded different the first time."
HAA! It's great! And then the show, Patch and Biscuit finaly truly 100% approve, and it's awesome!
Years later- Four words. For old times sake. I think that says it all... that just says it all.
A wonderful story, I absolutely adore it, Thank you for it, and you are more than welcome for the comments- you deserve them!
