In the Gilda Radner episode of "The Muppet Show", there was an eggplant in "Modern Major General".

Thanks TSF. Were there other veggies as the 7 Ft. Tall Carrot's backup singers? If so, what were they? Does the eggplant you speak of look like the one that comes with either FSL or RC Kermit?
Hope to hear from you guys again soon.

Yes, they were scallions, a tomato, a lettuce, and a watermelon. The eggplant looks like the one that comes with both FSL and RC Kermit.

Thanks again TSF. Are those veggies that were backup singers for the 7 Foot Talking Carrot the same ones from the All Food Glee Club?
If not, then how should they be added to the list, separately or as a group entry?

Also, was there a Muppet carrot character? Hope to hear from you guys soon.

The veggies who were background singers for this 7 Foot Carrot were the same ones from the All Food Glee Club.

There was never a Muppet carrot character, except for that one in an episode of "Little Muppet Monsters".

OK, then...
1 How should we add the eggplant, as just that "The Eggplant"?
2 As for the Banana from the Joel Gray episode, from At the Dance... Was she dancing with another banana? Should that entry be changed to "The Bananas"? How did they differ from each other?
3 Interested in knowing more about this Muppet carrot from LMM. Does it look like the figure that came with the figure of Waldorf?
Hope to hear from you guys soon.

1. You should add the eggplant from TMS and another eggplant from SS.

2. She actually danced with the rat in the Charles Aznavour episode, not the Joel Grey episode.

3. The large carrot does not look like the figure that came with Waldorf.

Thanks... Why do you say an "Eggplant (from SS)" should be added? Interested in the info you may have on that.
What did the carrot from LMM look like? Should it be added? Just wondering if "The Carrot" from LMM is the one or similar to the one that came with the figure of Waldorf to know whether or not count that one as another family member immortalized in plastic/action figure form.
Hope to hear from you guys here soon.

PS: MuppetDude, if you're reading this... Would appreciate whatever quick help you can give in the "Classic SS Character Questions" thread. Doesn't have to be descripts... Just help in identifying who certain characters were, how best to add them to the list (under what name), and if they should be added or not.

Okay...

Count, the "Harvey" I was telling you about was (according to Xerus) the fat blue AM monster with big yellow horns, yellow eyes, pink nose, and fangs. Xeris said he was in a "Lost & Found" sketch (and many other places), not the "telephone" skit.

There are two Muppet eggplants; one is from TMS (with beady eyes) and one is from SS (w/ bigger, "cartoony" eyes).

As far as carrots (besides the giant ones), here are a few I remember:

--A thin real-looking carrot used on SS, with black eyes and (I think) eyelashes. The Palisades carrot w/ Waldorf appears to be based on it, but with beady eyes.

--A bigger carrot made a few years ago on SS. He's got Ernie-like eyes.

--I've seen a pack of carrots (only one which has a face) on "The Cosby Show: Cliff's Nightmare", but I have no idea where he originated.

And I'll check the "Classic SS" questions ASAP...
