Bry: Erin's having a birthday party tonight.
Big Bird: I love parties!
Bert: Who's Erin again?
Ernie: She's the one who turned her room into a spooky haunted house.
Bry: In all honesty, Ernie, that doesn't really help much. In October this whole building is one big haunted house.
Telly: (having some left-over shivers) That's for sure! *shudder*
Bry: Bert, Erin lives downstairs with the girl Nora and the Storyteller Fraggle.
Bert: Oh.
Bry: We outta get her a present, but I have no idea what.
Big Bird: Birthdays have just been getting harder and harder lately.
Telly: Not the last one!
Big Bird: Oh yeah, the Cookie Monster sure loved his cookies!
Bry: Okay, let's put our heads together.
(the Muppet Lettuce head is about to speak until Telly grabs it and shuts it up in the fridge.)
Bry: Thanks, Telly. Bye the way...we're having salad for lunch!
Bert: It's about time!

A party? For me? Aw, thanks you guys, I'll try to put my work on hold long enough to stop in and party a bit!

Nora: Happy birthday to you...
Storyteller: You live in a zoo...
Nora: You've got ten zillion deadlines...
Storyteller: And...you've got homework too!

MN: (sarcastic) Gee, thanks for the vote of confidence, you guys.
Storyteller: Don't mention it, sweetie! (cackle) But try to sedate that work ethic long enough to celebrate your officially becoming an adult.

*Calling the CD/DVD store... So you still have some left? Good, thank you... Have a good night.
Hey guys... There are still some good Muppet music CD's left at the store if you need a gift for Nora. Or you could always go and get some fab shirts/sweaters with Scooter or any of the other Richard Hunt characters featured on the clothes, since she's a charter member of the RHLC.

*Putting finishing touches of some orange marmalade glaze on the angelfood cake, piping a bit of chocolate ganash on the sides. Got the food cooked, some presents wrapped... All that's left is the party girl herself.
*Knocks at Room #7's door... Hello, is Erin home?

MN: Yes, the Newsgirl is here, just overworked. My professors HAD to assign ten tons of homework for this weekend...
Storyteller: Oh, get away from the books for a bit.
Nora: Yeah, that's an order, Miss Too Smart for Her Own Good!
MN: All right, all right, I'm going. But you two are coming as well.
Nora: Oh, no, see, I have a diorama of the Reign of Terror to do for history class, and...
MN: Nice try, Nora. Your class is well past the French Revolution. You left your syllabus on the kitchen table. Now, allons-y!

Yeah... Heard that... My homework's mostly reading, can only do as much as I can, don't even read all the stuff that's assigned and all I can hope is to do OK enough to pass in the end.

But let's put these cares away... Worries for another day. Now it's time to celebrate MNG's birthday... Down at the MC Dorms!
Sorry, a bit giddy cause I got a few Muppet DVD's for meself, will keep those under wraps till the holidays as self-presents. Oh, the wonderousness of it all.

Uncle Deadly: Aren't you forgetting something young prawn?
Me: ...Oh yeah. The present! Gonzo, Camilla, bring it in!
Gonzo: *wheels in electric scooter with Camilla on it* Hey Erin! We all pitched in and bought you a scooter! ...I have no idea why though!
Camilla: Bragawk bawk!
Clifford: Yeah, enjoy dude.
Me: Now let's eat!

MN: Holy cow, an electric scooter...you guys, this is beautiful, just beautiful. Thanks a million!
Nora: Go take it for a spin!
MN: Not in here, silly goose, I'd have trouble maneuvering around the buffet table.
Storyteller: And speaking of buffet...I'll take a few Doozer stick cupcakes!
MN: I'll take some fruit salad and some punch to start with.

(Arriving at the party)
Ernie: Yoohoo! We're here!
Bert: Are we late?
Big Bird: Happy birthday, Erin! (Gives her a hug)
Bry: Yeah, happy birthday! We all chipped in to get you this present.
Big Bird: Except for me. I'm too young to have a job cuz I'm only 6 years old, but I made the card!
Bry: That's right. Telly, did you bring the present?
Telly: Oh yeah! Here. (Gives Erin a small package. Inside is a digital voice recorder). As a fellow news reporter, I know you'll enjoy this.
Ernie: Wow, look at all that food! Come on, Bert, let's dig in!

MN: Aw, thanks, big yellow fellow (gives Big Bird a hug back). And a tape recorder...ooh, nice. Thanks, Telly! This'll really help on the long interviews.
Storyteller: Anyone big you'd like to interview?
MN: Let's see...I'd like to interview the Muppeteers, a number of big-name rock stars, maybe a politician if I have the stomach for it...and speaking of stomach, and food...here are some cookies from Beth and the others! How nice!
Nora: Let me have some; I didn't have lunch today. (eagerly chomps into a few)
