Rosita: Telly, you aren't bouncing on your pogo stick. You have been doing it all week.
Telly: I know, and I love it more than anything right now, but I thought I should take a break and write thank you cards to some of our friends for all of the great things they gave me.
Rosita: That's a nice idea, Telly.

Snuffy: *sniff* Hey, Bird! What's that smell?
Stinky: Sahrry!!
Snuffy: Not you.
Stinky: Oh...Sahrry!!
Big Bird: Yeah something smells great! Hey, lets go find out what it is.
Bry: Hi, Big Bird. Hi, Snuffy.
Big Bird: Hi.
Snuffy: Hi.
Big Bird: Hey, Bryan, are you cooking something?
Bry: As a matter of fact I am. I am baking a pumpkin pie.
Snuffy: Wow. I've never had a pumpkin pie before.
Bry: Well, I have and I love 'em, but I've never baked a pumpkin pie before. I sure hope it turns out good. I am sort of practicing for when Halloween and Thanksgiving come around.
Big Bird: Oh.
Bry: How was your Birdkateer meeting today, Big Bird.
Big Bird: Oh, well we didn't have one this week. No, Mokey is going to be gone and I figured since it is a holiday weekend we should just cancel it since some of the kids might not be here.
Bry: Its nice that Mokey joined your club.
Big Bird: Yeah, she is really fun to bird watch with at the park.
Bry: So do you guys have any idea about what you are going to be for Halloween this year? It's coming up really soon.
Big Bird: Oh I am going as a airplane pilot because sometimes I like to pretend that I can fly.
Snuffy: Yeah, and I'm going to be a big fire-breathing Snuffle-dragon.
Rosita: And I am going to go as one of my heroes, Zorra!
Telly: Uuh, Rosita, don't you mean Zorr-O?
Rosita: No. I mean Zorr-A! Hehe.
Bry: What about you, Telly?
Telly: Phillip Chapman.
Bry: Huh?
Telly: Phillip Chapman.
Big Bird: Why?
Telly: Why not!
Bry: Why do we even question you?

Lots to get too, just happy that the weekend's starting... Now! No class on Friday's that I have to go to and I'm free for pursuing purrsonal endeavors.

1 Ryan... You should know that commentary for your stories is almost second-nature. And you should post it if people say they'll read it. Heck, you should post it even if people don't read it.
2 Kathy, is it any type of cat you'll be dressed as? Or is it a black cat as I hinted for you in my short story Halloween Homecoming?
Oh, and you should probably post what Prairie's costume will be in the Halloween Costumes thread in the Friends & Family section so Kyle knows for his dormwide Halloween portrait.

Lisa, I say you go for the short story now and come back to Swamp Call. Short stories are better to write because they're, well, short and with a specific purpose rather than the expansive span of a full-blown fan fic.

Bry: (sigh) Anyways... the pie turned out great, Ed. I'll send a couple peices down for you and the Count to try if you'd like. I'll be making more for Halloween. Also, I dunno if Hoots wants to move in officially. I'll find out though. He just sort of likes to come by and hang out sometimes at our window during the evening hours. Hope you don't mind his presence. As of now, if there is anyone else who wants to take him in to their room thats cool. I am sure you know that Stinky has sort of ended up in our room though. Not really planned, it just kinda happened that way. Ah well...I will send Rosita down with the pie.

No prob Bryan. Just asking since you named him along with your roomies in the Halloween Costumes thread... And I know about Stinky, no problem there either since some of us have added pets/guests in our rooms as well. Hmmm, maybe some scarves at least for them? Oh well, can keep till the morrow.
