Rosita: Hey, Bryan. There is a box here at the door.
Bry: Oh, hey! Maybe it's my package.
Rosita: (picking it up and bringing it inside) You're name is on it. It must be yours.
Bry: (Taking box from Rosita) Oh wow!! You know how long I've been waiting for this thing to arrive?
Oscar: (calling from down the hall) Yes, please don't remind us!!
Rosita: Oh, Oscar. (laughs)
Big Bird: (coming back in) Hey, what's going on?
Rosita: Bryan got a package.
Big Bird: You did? You mean that little box that Grover was carrying was for you?
Bry: That's right, Big Bird.
Big Bird: Oh, boy! Well, what's in it?
Bry: Well, I'll show ya. Let's just open it up here. First I need to get a knife to cut the tape with.
Big Bird: Oh, be careful with that knife there. You don't wanna hurt yourself.
Bry: Thanks, Big Bird.
Rosita: Well, what is it?
Big Bird: Yeah, I wanna see.
Bry: Just a sec... this thing is really packaged good.
(Finally getting it open) Woohoo!!
Big Bird: What is it?
Bry: This! (holding it up)
Big Bird: It's a little plastic toy. Hey, you know what? That toy looks just like Kermit.
Bry: It is Kermit, Big Bird.
Big Bird: Nah, I may be a big bird, but that frog looks too small to be Kermit.
Rosita: No, Big Bird. It is a toy of Kermit. Right, Bryan?
Bry: That's right. But not just any toy. This is a very special toy. It's the Rainbow Connection Kermit from Palisades. Remember when we watched that movie that Kermit was in and he played the banjo and sang that song?
Big Bird: Oh, yeah. I guess it looks just like him, only smaller.
Rosita: Yeah, and look at the cute little vegetables in there too. And little green Robin. Oh, I just want to hold him and love him all the time!
Big Bird: Wait. Who is this little boy here in this picture?
Bry: Oh, that's Cooper Perry. He is the boy that this figure was made for.
Rosita: Oh, well I hope he likes it too.
Big Bird: Yeah!
Bry: Well, actually guys, he isn't really here to play with it.
Big Bird: Well, of course not, silly. He is at his own house playing.
Bry: No, I mean, Cooper Perry died.
Big Bird: Died?
Bry: Yeah, remember when Mr. Hooper died?
Big Bird: Oh, yeah, i sure do. That was so sad.
Bry: Yeah, well, the same thing happened to Cooper. He died of a sickness called meningitis.
Rosita: But he is so young.
Bry: Yeah, that happens sometimes. But they made this special figure in his memory, and the money that people spend on these toys will go to a special fund to help support research about brain trauma.
Rosita: Well, that's nice. This is a very special figure.
Bry: It is. And by purchasing this, we helped other children.
Big Bird: We did?
Bry: That's right. Makes you feel good, huh.
Big Bird: It sure does. (looking at picture) Hi, Cooper. Wherever you are, we are sure thinking about you.
Rosita: And we all love you very much.
Big Bird: Yeah!
Bry: That's sweet, guys. Come on! Lets go put this somewhere with the other figures.
Big Bird: Hey, Bryan?
Bry: Yeah, Big Bird?
Big Bird: If it's okay with you, can I put the picture of Cooper by my nest next to Mr. Looper?
Bry: I think that would be great, Big Bird. (patting him on the beak)
