Nora: Oh, Peter sent over a magical pen and notebook...that's really nice of them...
(Storyteller enters)
Storyteller: (singing) Come gather round, ye Fraggle clan, and hear the tale I tell...(stops) And what are you mooning about, Nora, dear?
Nora: What? Oh, nothing. (hides package under sofa) Um, I think I'd better get the cake into the oven; Erin left a recipe and ingredients for me to work with.
Storyteller: Ah, good. As for me, I've been working with that new ink Ed gave me...it does give such an air of mystery to the written word...and, wait, when is Erin supposed to be back?
Nora: I don't know.
(door opens)
MN: Lucy, I'm home...
Storyteller: About time you got in here, little Sally Scribbler.
MN: And good evening to you too, birthday Fraggle.
Nora: How was New York?
MN: Just fine, as usual. But there were a bunch of crazy basketball fans in town for something.
Nora: Did you see Richard's ghost at the museum?
MN: No, sorry. But I got Maurice his birthday present: a nice big book of jokes, and a tin of hot chocolate mix. The really good kind.
Nora: That's great...I think we're going to have the party tomorrow.
MN: Great...and Storyteller, I also got your present. I'll give it to you then.
