Ernie: Ooh! Looks like fun! *bounces with Ryan*
Ryan: Hi Ernie!
Ernie: Khekhekhe! Hi Ryan!
Ryan: What a splendid day!
Ernie: Yeah! ...Hey, Ryan?
Ryan: Yeah Ernie?
Ernie: Why are we bouncing?
Ryan: Because I just finished the second-to-last chapter of my fan-fic!
Ernie: Oh! Great!
Ryan: Sha!
Ernie: Um, any other reason?
Ryan: Nope!
Ernie: Okay, just checking.
Ryan: Up for pizza?
Ernie: Of course!
Ryan: C'mon then! Let's bounce! *bounces out of room with Ernie*

Storyteller: How are those cookies coming?
Nora: They'll be out of the oven in a bit. (checks cookies) So what'd you guys get for Ruahnna and Miss Piggy?
MN: For Ru, I got a nice green and magenta reading pillow. For the pig, I got a new makeup mirror. Storyteller:
Storyteller: I got Ru a tin of water lily tea. Good for stimulating the writer's mind. For Miss Piggy, I got a bottle of moonflower perfume.
Nora: For Ruahnna, I've got a new fountain pen set. For Miss Piggy, I got "Chicken Soup for the Superstar Diva's Soul."
MN: Excellent, excellent. And...Storyteller, I think I'll give you your present now. (goes to room) I found this in an antique shop in New York. (returns with a package)
Storyteller: Oh, goody, goody...(opens package) Oooh! A sculpture of a Lily Creature! Bless you, Erin.
MN: I know; fetching, isn't it? Now then, we've got Maurice's presents wrapped.
Nora: That reminds me; Peter and the others sent you a new notebook and pen, Storyteller. (takes said items out from beneath sofa)
Storyteller: Excellent, excellent. I must be sure to send them a thank-you.
Nora: So when do we give out the other presents?
MN: We'll see what everyone else is doing. (oven timer beeps) Nora, go rescue your cookies.

 

[Ruahnna]

Good things come to those who wait....

(The room is festooned with streamers and balloons. There are snacks on the table and a red velvet birthday cake with buttercream icing on the coffee table. Piggy has been sent out on a useless errand to the store, but is expected back any moment. There are footsteps in the hall.)
Catherine: Shhh! I hear footsteps!
Fozzie: (holding his hat protectively over his chest) I don’t want to be too close to the door when she comes in.
Kermit: Fine—get behind me!
(The three of them crouch down and wait. And wait. No one comes in.)
Fozzie: Must not have been her.
Catherine: I could go--
Kermit: No! (pushing Catherine’s head down) You stay down. I’ll go check. (He pauses at the door.) Hey Fozzie—come with me.
Fozzie: Do I have to?
Catherine: I’ll come if you—
Kermit: No! I—I just want Fozzie to come. Come on, Fozzie!
(They disappear through the door out into the hall. Catherine waits. And waits. No one returns. Finally, feeling a decided creak in her old bones, Catherine wrestles herself out of her crouch and goes to the door….)

 

[Ruahnna]

And a good party was had by all

(Catherine opens the door cautiously, then jumps back as Kermit, Fozzie, Piggy and a hall full of others all shout “Happy Birthday!” The crowd surges into the room, with another cake, and presents and noisemakers of all sorts. Piggy comes in and hugs an astonished Catherine.)
Piggy: Happy Birthday, Dear! Kissy kissy!
Catherine: Oh! Oh, but I was—this was supposed to be, um, for you.
Piggy: (confidently) Oh it is! But Moi is letting vous share her party—since vous are sharing Moi’s birthday. It’s the least Moi can do.
Catherine: (returning the hug warmly) Thanks, sweetie! I—I wanted it to be a surprise, but this is, well, I guess this IS a surprise! Happy Birthday Piggy! This is number…?
Piggy: None of your beeswax! Now—let’s go cut the cake!
(Laughing, they go cut the cake.)
Catherine: Um, if this is my party, too—who’s cleaning up all this?
Piggy: (blithely) Oh, the boys will take care of it. Now come on—I want to taste that buttercream icing.

Ryan: *rolls in cleaning supplies* Janitorial service at your er... service Ru darlin'! As long as I get some cake first.
Gonzo: Happy Birthday Catherine! Happy Birthday Piggy! Hope it's weird and wild!
Camilla: Brawk bawk byuck.
Bert: Happy Birthday. I hope the cake is good.
Ernie: *eating a piece* Oh, it is Bert!
Bert: Ernie...
Clifford: *carries in gifts* Happy Birthday la-dies. Or, Catherine anyway... not sure if Piggy's a lady or not.
Uncle Deadly: Just ask Kermit, I'm sure he'll vouge for her. Happy Birthday to you both.

Happy Brithday Catherine! And to you too Miss Piggy.

Grover: Here are the gift we got for them.

I guess sit them over by the rest of them.

FilFil: Anyone seen the music that's spoused to be here?

Herry: Why? Are you charge of it?

FilFil: I called all the monsters to come from Sesame Street and others too for the band.

Telly: For real? Who are they? Have i ever meet them before?

FilFil: Uh i think so.

An anything Muppet comes up to FilFil wearing sunsades, gotee and carrying a clipboard "Is this where party is?"

FilFil: Yes sir. Just set up over there. *points to the common room*

Anything Muppet: *speaks into his headset* Ok guys. This is the place.

A bunch of monsters and anything muppets come in carrying the stuff for the band.

Telly: This is going to one happen party.

Grover: You said it Telly.

 

[The Count]

Dear Catherine... Please know how sorry I am not to have shown up at your and Piggy's party earlier. Traffic was a bit backed up getting home, and I had a good chat with a friend of mine. But the Count and I want to wish you the warmest of birthday congratulations.

*Wheels in a decadent chocolate layered cake, with chocolate chip shells and fudge icing, along with an unknown number of candles gracing the cocoa powdered cover. Bought the cake at the bakery, along with a few other presents at some of the local shops yesterday. Let's see...
Count: A pair of black-topped dancing shoes that'll last until way past midnight for Miss Piggy.
*Hands her the well-wrapped giftbox.
And a jewelry box from FR Jewelers that plays the melody to The First Time It Happens, thought that'd be a nice little memory for Piggy.
Count: A brand new mug with pictures of your Muppet friends for Ru, for those warm morning coffees or to fil up vith hot chocolate and however many marshmallows you like if you happen to like marshmallows.
*Hands Catherine the sealed present.
And a shopping spree gift card for you Miss Catherine, along with a great big Thank You for all the help and fanficness you spread here at MC.

*Hugs Piggy and then Catherine, stepping aside so Count can hug them as well. Happy birthday to you both!

MN: Hey, Cath, you still in there?
Nora: Yeah, we've got presents!
Storyteller: For you, we've got: one green and magenta reading pillow, one tin of water lily tea and one fountain pen set.
MN: For Miss Piggy, we've got one copy of "Chicken Soup for the Superstar Diva's Soul," a vial of moonflower perfume and a makeup mirror.
Nora: Happy birthday, one and all...mind if we have some cake, if you've got any left?

*Wanders over to the buffet table to sna something to munch on, as well as a glass of lemon-lime sparkling soda.

*Notices Erin's post total. Oooh, looks like someone'll be getting a new title soon! Better get the white boxes ready for one last-minute present.
