Hmmm... Good show, but I need more to properly post thoughts. Can spot an influence of Cruella in Aurora's actions... Not sure if that was intentional or not. At any rate, more please.

Yeah, that's what I was going for, but again was trying not to make it obvious. Still, I'm glad you picked up on it, Ed.

Part 7

On the plane, Lindy was seated next to Chamberlain, who was in a noticeable rage. Across the aisle from them sat Kirk and Amber, who was sleeping with her head on Kirk’s shoulder as Lindy watched them.

"Aww, I love young love, don’t you, Chamberlain? They’re so cute together. Maybe I’ll fall in love someday, considering I even go the interspecies route. I mean, seriously, how many good looking girl penguins am I gonna find in old H-Wood?" rambled Lindy to Chamberlain.

"Lindy, please be quiet. I am in no mood for your diatribes" snapped Chamberlain.

"Oh, lighten up, Chamberlain. Don’t sit there looking like you were weaned on a pickle. We’re going to Hollywood; how can you feel bummed when we’re on our way there?" asked Lindy.

"‘Lighten up?’ That’s the last thing I want to hear, Lindy." replied Chamberlain. "Do you realize that in a few days Aurora will be chasing us all over California, like her father did? And don’t give me the same guff that you gave Mokey about Mr. Lords not finding us. He did, and now his daughter will do the same. I’m not worried about me, after all, I can never die. But you and Kirk and Amber and Fozzie and Lightning, you’re the susceptible ones"

"Well, of course *Amber* will be susceptible. She’s like the skinny little blonde in the old Wolfman movies who snaps her ankle and becomes a chew toy" said Lindy.

"You know what I mean, Lindy" replied Chamberlain. "All of you are my responsibility, and if something happens to any one of you, it’ll be on me. Letting Mokey go back to the Rock was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do; I’m not at liberty to lose any more members of my family."

"You think of me as family?" asked Lindy, deeply touched. "Wow, that makes me feel good."

"Well, it’s the God’s truth, Lindy" said Chamberlain. "Why else would I be hoofing it to California? Now, why don’t you rest? Just a few more hours and we’ll be there."

Part 8

Before she could go to Hollywood, Aurora, like the fashionable woman that she was, had to pack. She allowed Fozzie and Lightning to come in her house on the pretense that they didn’t touch or take anything. She went upstairs, leaving Fozzie and Lightning in the parlor. Suddenly they heard a faint rapping coming from the coat closet.

"Should we look in there?" whispered Lightning to Fozzie.

"I don’t think we should; Aurora told us not to." replied Fozzie.

"Fozzie, is that you?" said the voice in the closet.

"That depends; who’s asking?" said Fozzie, nervously.

"Jasper, Mokey’s ex-roommate." answered the voice.

"You’re mean; we don’t like you!" exclaimed Lightning.

"No, no... I’m done being bad now. I’ll explain myself, but you have to let me out of the closet" said Jasper.

Fozzie opened the closet and out stepped Jasper Fraggle. Jasper was once a human before he crushed a Perfect Blue Rollie, which made him a Fraggle. He was beige in color with a brown mullet haircut, wearing a hunter-green tank top.

"I was the only survivor from the whirlpool." explained Jasper. "When the Coast Guard found Mr. Lords and Scoop dead, naturally they had to notify Aurora. I was almost dead when they found me, so Aurora agreed to take me in until I got better. Seeing as I’m a Fraggle now and I can’t be seen by the outside world, it only stood to reason that I stay here under wraps. So, what brings you two here?"

"Aurora’s taking us to California to go after Chamberlain. Of course, we’re planning to stop her" said Lightning, proudly.

Just then, Aurora came downstairs with both arms full of suitcases. When she noticed Jasper out of the closet, she screamed "Get your suit on; you’re coming too!". Jasper walked into the closet and came back a few seconds later dressed as a dog! Naturally, Fozzie and Lightning doubled over in laughter.

"Yeah, yeah, I know, laugh it up" said Jasper, embarrassed. "How do you think I feel?"

"The better question is, do we *care* how you feel?" asked Aurora.

"No" said Jasper, like he was used to answering these questions.

"Do you have a choice in the matter?" asked Aurora.

"No" answered Jasper, dejectedly.

"Splendid!" said Aurora as she attached a leash to Jasper. "Now come, my little hostages. Momma’s going to own a Fraggle fund soon!"

Hmm, interesting....

You're doing a splendid job of writing Aurora as the bad guy, I'm definitely seeing the greed in her come alive!

Must read what happens next!

You know... I'm liking Aurora. Maybe it's because I naturally like female characters better. Or maybe it's because I'm enjoying a character influenced by Cruella, since people say my mom looks sort of like the real thing (Glen Close). And I thought you wrote Mr. Lords with the fright amount of creepyness, kind of resembling Calub Siles from Muppet Musicians of Bremen.

More please.
