I somehow missed this last chapter. But it's very good! I liked the interaction between Kirk and Amber and I fall more in love with Lindy in every chapter. Great stuff, looking forward to more!

very nice so far.. and yes.. most of us lurk and feel silly just posting lots of "yeah, i like it too" stuff.. it makes it annoying for all those who are actually trying to read the story to have to wade through 40 identical messages between chapters.. heh

Part 4

When Chamberlain, Lindy, and Kirk got back to the house, they were all very excited about their upcoming trip to Hollywood and were telling Fozzie and Lightning everything that happened.

"Wow, Hollywood; that's the highest place you can be when you're a movie star!" clamored Fozzie.

"Gee, Dad, where'd you pick up this rube?" Kirk asked Chamberlain, referring to Fozzie.

"Aw, now, son, Fozzie's no rube. Why, on our last adventure, when that storm hit and we were all fighting for our lives, Fozzie was there with Mr. Fiama's jet to save the day!" exclaimed Chamberlain.

"Speaking of which, Dad, tell them what we talked about." said Kirk.

"Oh, yes, I almost forgot. Fozzie, Lightning, you two are to stay here and watch the house while we're gone." siad Chamberlain.

"Whaaa?" yelled Fozzie.

"But we gotta go!" added Lightning.

"Now, before you get all worked up, boys, just listen." sad Chamberlain. "Mr Lords' daughter is after us, and if she comes here (which I'm sure she will) you two will have to handle her."

"B-b-b-but I'm just a scaredy bear! And Lightning's just a baby cow!" cried Fozzie.

"Come to think of it, Dad, maybe leaving them in charge *isn't* such a good idea." said Kirk.

"Nonsense, boy!" said Chamberlain. "Why, Fozzie's just as capable as you or I. I have great faith in him."

"Yeah, well, you're the *only* one." added Kirk.

"Now, Fozzie, you have absolutely nothing to worry about." said Chamberlain. "All you have to do is be on the lookout for a woman with an eyepatch and simply ask her her name, and if she says 'Aurora Moneva', calmy try to contact me. Just don't panic and don't give her any information. Well, at any rate, we're not leaving for a few more days. I wouldn't worry about anything just yet."

Nice update. Unlike Chamberlain, I would worry about Aurora trying to make contact before they leave though.
Please post more soon.

Part 5

The end of the week finally came and Lindy could not have been more excited. He, Kirk, and Chamberlain had to leave the house at 5:30 AM to get on the plane by 7:00. But first they had to pick up Amber. As excited as Lindy was, he was perturbed about the extra company. He didn’t have a problem with Kirk going, as he knew that Kirk needed Chamberlain for support now that Aurora was after them. But did Amber really need to join them? What, just because she and Kirk dated in high school made her eligible to go with them? But all in all, Lindy was quite content. They finally reached Amber’s house. Lindy was surprised at its appearance. He expected Amber to reside in an old shack in the ghetto, but in actuality she lived in a very nice neighborhood that looked like it was right out of “Leave It To Beaver”.

“I wonder if Wally and Lumpy are around.” said Lindy as he rolled his eyes.

“Now, Lindy, be nice.” said Chamberlain kindly. Just then, Amber popped her head out through her front door and called out “Kirk, sweetie, could you give me a hand with my luggage?"

“Sure thing, babe.” replied Kirk as he ran out of the car.

“Why don’t you give Kirk a hand, Lindy?" suggested Chamberlain.

“Huh! No way!" said Lindy as he stubbornly crossed his wings.

“I’m sure it won’t be a lot.” replied Chamberlain.

“Of course it’ll be a lot! If it wasn’t, she’d have carried them out herself!" snapped Lindy.

“Lindy, why are you so edgy today? This whole trip is for you, after all.” asked Chamberlain.

“Well, apparently it’s not, cause I don’t want Amber to come.” replied Lindy.

“Why not? She’s a very charming girl.” said Chamberlain.

“She looks like she belongs on an MTV reality series or something.” retorted Lindy. He would have gone on but he saw Kirk and Amber come back with the luggage.

“Hello, Amber. As always, nice to see you. Well, as soon as you kids have the luggage all packed up, we’ll be off!" exclaimed Chamberlain.

Another great chapter, I love this conflict Lindy is having over Amber being with them, makes me wonder what is going to happen next, does Lindy know something we don't? More please!

This is a very good story Brian. I must check it out more often in future. I'm rather curious as to what the truth about Amber could be myself. Keep up the good work.

Part 6

Back in Newport, Fozzie and Lightning were reflecting on Lindy’s big career opportunity.

"Wow, Fozzie, can you believe Lindy’s gonna be in a movie?" asked Lightning, incredulously.

"Yeah, I’m so excited for him!" replied Fozzie. "Hopefully he won’t forget the little people like us."

"Oh, no, I sure he wo- MOOOOOOO!" Lightning started mooing frantically.

"What’s wrong, pal? What do you see?" asked Fozzie.

"Some lady’s coming to the door! I think you better call Chamberlain’s cell phone; I’ll get the door." said Lightning as he ran to the door. When he opened it, there stood Aurora Moneva. She had the same crooked nose that her father had, but, as opposed to her father having his black eyeball exposed, Aurora wore an eyepatch. She had a trendy bob haircut covered by a black-and-white checkered hat and was dressed in a long neon-green overcoat with purple polka dots on it, and hot pink leather boots for footwear. And on her left hand was the muck-covered Slasher ring that her father had worn before he descended to the whirlpool.

"W-w-w-who are you?" stammered Lightning.

"Aurora Moneva, Head of Physics, Brown University. Does a Chamberlain Harrison preside here?" asked Aurora. Meanwhile, Fozzie was speaking to Chamberlain, who was about to board the plane.

"Chamberlain, she’s here! Aurora is here!" exclaimed Fozzie.

"Put her on the phone immediately!" shouted Chamberlain.

"H-he wants to talk to you, ma’am" said Fozzie, nervously holding out the phone.

"Splendid! Out of my way, beast!" Aurora said to Lightning as she kicked him in the head, knocking him down. She grabbed the phone from Fozzie and said "Hello, Mr. Harrison. What a delight to finally speak with you."

"What do you want from me, woman?" asked Chamberlain in a rage.

"Tell me where the ownership papers are for the Newport Fraggle Fund." replied Aurora.

"What business is that of yours?" asked Chamberlain.

"Because my father was the leading expert on the Fraggle race. And since you killed him, I’m the sole shareholder of all profits. If anyone should head the Fraggle Fund, it’s me!" screamed Aurora.

"I carry all my business papers with me, and I am currently on my way to Hollywood, California. If you want the bloody papers, just try and find me!" roared Chamberlain.

"Oh, I’ll find you, Harrison! There’s no doubting that! And I’m taking your bear and calf with me. See you soon." shouted Aurora as she slammed the phone on the receiver.

"We’re not going anywhere with you, lady." said Fozzie, who was cradling Lightning’s bleeding head in his lap.

"Oh, how wrong you are! And please, don’t try to fight me. You’ll only lose!" said Aurora as she picked up Lightning by his tail and Fozzie by his tie and carried them off to her car.
