Man. Reading these posts about people not being able to have funerals for their loved ones is not something I had even considered. That's heartbreaking.
But it's not just the funerals. It's your relative dying in a hospital. ALONE. That's extremely sad. The most difficult and scariest time of life and nobody there to help you get through it. No goodbyes. Nothing.

It's certainly a dark time for everybody; darker than others, sadly.

It’s just a month that no one will want to remember once it’s over.

I feel like a lot of people will look back on this time with a weird sense of, almost nostalgia? Similar (but not as extreme) to how people who grew up during World War II are nostalgic for the time they spent away from their families as kids, when they were dropped off at railroad stations to evacuate to the countryside.

I’m not going to want to remember this virus. Like seriously it’s been disruptive for everyone’s everyday lives. And if anything I feel like it’s only divided families.

Because of coronavirus, 2020 is the year that everyone would like to have back.

2019 was certainly not a pleasant year for a lot of people (myself included), and many were hoping that 2020 - the first new year of a new decade - would be a major improvement . . . turns out this isn't going to be the case at all.

And even so, it's quite possible we'll be dealing with this through 2022.
