Thanks Jessica !!!!! C'mon , lets see you 'Doin The Pigeon' - the Penguin can be your partner. Of course now that i'm the top person around here volume wise i want you to know that it won't affect our 'little arrangement'. I'll be like a figurehead anway - i'll have no official power but...

Well if anyone ever wants me to send em the Smurfs over from the UK next time they have a promotion on just give me a shout. I will be more than happy to eat the Happy Meal for you all too ! ;-) Cool link also ! BTW Lu - LOVE the Avatar ! Basil Brush - BOOM BOOM ! :p

Hi Jeremy, Welcome to the forum. The bonus isn't something that certain people here are getting due to Ken's involvment - it's a bonus for the first 500 people to sign up to the Palisades club from whatever source. There are 600 members here but it's very unlikely that absolutely...

Hey Zack, Great suggestions. They've moved Regular Rowlf back because a) they have something good planned for him, and also want to research a new way of articulating him. b) to keep some of the more desirable 'big guns' back so that there is a greater chance of the figure line being strong...

Hey Jamie, I know what you mean. Here in the UK 'PVC' is something you make a jacket out of, and i've never seen an articulated 'PVC' figure either. I just saw about them in Michael's review. To everyone who commented that the Muppets would need a lot more detail than the Simpsons...

The major place i find new smurfs is through Mcdonalds Happy Meals - prior to last week in the UK one was given away free with each meal and i guess a similar deal happens in the states. I was a big smurf collector when i was a kid and kept all the figures, including accessories. Anyone know...

As to the other gatherings, it looks like there possibly might be a second Muppetfest next spring on the East coast, hopefully New York !

It was a magical moment. The doves went up into the sky but got slaughtered by a large eagle ! Anyway you become a senior member which is cool - i think it means i can hit people with a long stick if they misbehave and tell em 'Muppet Fans weren't like that in my day'. I'm off for my 'All...

It sounds like a mixture of the two to me - they are going to do something new and edgy, but the intial rumors that have been going around are that it will be set in the theatre, although they have i think denied it will be an all out variety show.

Only one thing wrong - Elmo - are you sure ? I'd prefer him to get zapped with the teleporting ray ! ;-)

Of course however popular the Osbourne figs are there is just the massive disadvantage of there being four characters and thats it wheras the Muppets have so many possibilities. I know they are doing a couple of chases of Ozzy and Jack but theres only so far you can go. It'll start to get...

Really ? That sounds cool. We have a generation 1 DVD, a generation 2 DVD and the movie DVD here as yet.

Welcome to the forum Meep ! A whole new world of wierdness awaits you !

LOL - Yeah bummer about that !

It really disgusts me that people actually go to the shows and buy them 'to order' and try and go over the per person limit. Ugh !

Cool dude - i saw the DVD's in our local mall and they had them playing on a massive plasma screen and i was like totally taken aback. It's been so long - though they are best of's i take it and the only way you can get the full seasons are VCD's.

But if we told you, we'd have to sacrifice you to the Muppet god, and as a 'Senior Member' i may well even have the power to do that although i have yet to check. Personally though, i was hoping for a Penguin pack-in !

Re: Just to clarify Yeah, lol - it's amazing they think she shifts so many of their magazines !

Yeah i'd like that - thanks ! I was always a big fan - the cartoon used to be on weeday mornings in our school holidays as part of a puppet show. The DVD's have just come out here and are on my list of 'must buys' !

I agree totally that there needs to be some kind of a chase to get the exclusives/variants and people shouldn't be given easy access to them - anticipation is needed. I am one of those people who buy just the figures they want - if that happens to be an exlusive or a playset then so be it -...
