Lol, no... but I HAVE been giving thanks for the wonderful weather we've been having this season.
We may not have gotten tons and tons of snow like the north, who are always hogging it every year anyway (why hog it all, then complain about it?), the most we've had has been about three inches...
Are you kitten me? After last summer where h e l l had risen to the earth? I'm BASKING in our current winter season! I've never experienced cold to this extreme before, it's given me quite a rush! I DO NOT function well in heat... and down here in the Volunteer State, it's hot nine out of twelve...
*Is slightly disappointed that the last four Super Bowl games have dethroned the 2 1/2 hour M*A*S*H finale as the most watched television program in history*
And let us not forget, there was also a "lost" episode of Arnold, where Phoebe passes gas over the microphone, while on stage in the auditorium, in front of the entire school, and she becomes ridiculed for it, especially Harold who continually chanted "PHOEBE FARTED! PHOEBE FARTED! PHOEBE...
Wlecome to "The World of the Declining Internet", Kath.
It's like YouTube: they say, "We'll remember your settings"... so, if they remember my settings, how come every single time I have to log in, I have to change my homepage from "Activity Stream" to "Subscriptions", THEN, go into my...
Gee, I didn't mean to get anything started with that post, lol.
Not that I don't appreciate reading your thoughts and views, you know I do, but I was just trying to tell Jamie that there can be "value" in the expensive kinds of gifts you would "traditionally" give to somone you care about...
Reminds me of how I was a little shocked when all of the sudden during the last season of Cow and Chicken, they started saying "crud" just about every other episode (especially Red Guy), because back then, even though words like "crud", "crap", "fart", etc aren't swears/curses/profanities/etc...
Okay, see that doesn't make any sense! A sister can give her brother a kiss on the cheek, and vice-versa without implying incest! I seem to remember an episode of Dexter where Dee Dee is so grateful to Dexter for doing her a favor, that she kisses him on the nose. I don't remember anyone having...
Don't forget this Jamie; you can always get to a person with lavish gifts like the traditional bouquet, or box of chocolates... but it's those little things that you give like that that are more special, and have more meaning than the expensive things.
At least that's what I was told when I...
I actually hadn't heard that Butch Patrick story, I just remember hearing Sid & Marty say how lucky they were to get someone of his "star quality" for the show, what with him having been Eddie on The Munsters the previous decade. But it makes sense, because they've spoken very highly of Jack...
Kind of like how everybody in recent years have gotten their panties in a wad over The Chipettes in harem outfits from The Chipmunk Adventure.
It seems like the censors never can make up their minds of what people can or can't do, especially as far as cartoons and children's programming is...
Here's a little excerpt from a DVD interview with producer Si Rose, regarding Lidsville.
"The censor called one day, and said 'We have a problem with Mother Wheels, she needs to wear a motorcycle helmet,' and I said to them, 'Mother Wheels IS a motorcycle helmet.'"
I SO have been wanting to see that whole thing for YEARS now... someone posted an exceprt from it on YouTube, mostly about Pufnstuf, but it was removed shortly afterwards.
"I would get letters from people sayings things like, 'Yeah man, I know how you feel, I talk to mushrooms too, and I never get any help from these guys.' And I'm thinking, 'What?'!" ~ Jack Wild from an interview on Pufnstuf.
