The dark day of Valentines Day is upon us...

I've often though the same thing these past three years or so of people still dragging out their most extravagant Christmas decorations to display in their yards, thus, just adding up to their electric bills. But, oddly enough, the recession has supposedly been over for a few months now, but...

Did you forget what day is TODAY?

I just knew this was going to be another V-Day thread. All I have to say is this: BAH HUMBUG. :grouchy:

The dark day of Valentines Day is upon us...

Well, not necessarily... I mean yes, it IS possible to get married for a meager amount so-to-speak, but the problem is when it comes to wedding, most brides-to-be, like you say, insist on the huge expansive, fanciful fairy tale weddings and such, lol. In that case, it'd be cheaper for two people...

    That's terrible. :sympathy:

The Jim Henson Company Puppets to perform at the 2011 Grammys

That still makes them Muppets irregardless if they can be legally refered to by that term or not. But nonetheless, that was a pretty cool thing to watch, I'm not usually one to sit through award shows in their entirety, but seeing this was worth the watch, lol. I knew I saw Piddles the Pug in...

Title this thread for me again

They tell you you'll get less everything if you lose weight... I think the only thing you get less of if you lose weight is the amount of clothing you have. ;) Supposedly though, you'd have less cholesterol as well; my doctor says that's really my only problem internally is high cholesterol...

Title this thread for me again

Another thing too, pressuring and harping on people to do so isn't going to make them want to do any more than they already don't want to do it. I had this really horrible doctor years ago; he didn't give a crap whether I was sick, or in pain, or anything, all he wanted to know was if I was...

What in the world is going on around here?

Is anyone else suddenly having occasional problems accessing MC again right now, or is it yet another sign that my internet connection is getting suckier and suckier with every passing week?

    My Own Muppet Artsy Stuffz

Boy, I am just really overwhelmed at how Chester A. Bum moving in next door to Oscar (in his own box) has literally become an overnight sensation. I had no idea it was going to turn out to be such a hit with people, but then again, Santa Cookie turned out to be a bigger hit than I anticipated...

KEN: I'm NOT a girl's toy! I'm NOT! Why do you people keep saying that? !

Where's The Old School People At?(1998-2002)

I don't know why, but for some reason, I've always been faschinated by your avy... But anyway, I see it's also your birthday today, so happy welcome birthday back! Or... somethin' like that...

Title this thread for me again

Well, see, Piggy may be a "full-figure woman"... but as for overall size, she's considerably smaller than most women. ;)

Title this thread for me again

Exactly the point I've been driving across a while back: THIS is why there are so many people out there who are, LITERALLY, killing themselves over this, and they're doing it two ways... 1. They're either practically starving themselves to death, so as to avoid packing on even more pounds...

    Muppet Movies on Wikipedia

Correcting mistakes on Wikipedia would pretty much be futile, because any Tom, Dick, and Dr. Vindaloo can and do come along and edit any information on that site, whether the content they contribute is accurate or not.

Title this thread for me again

I was wanting to title it "PROOF that 'Size 0' ISN'T an Exaggeration", but Ed always edits my thread titles, so I might as well just let him come up with a title for me. We all will speak rhetorically, and somewhat sarcastically that society, and especially the media, forces us to idolize...

Which performer should get a documentary next?

I completely agree. On the subject of Richard Hunt, it would be nice if a documentary was done on him too; I can't remember exactly, but didn't some kind of gay webmagazine do a really nice spread about him not too many months ago?

    Your Thoughts: MC on Facebook

Another minor quibble I have with the Facebook module at the bottom of the forum is similar to Google ads and such" they ALWAYS have to be the first to load for some reason before the actual content of the page you're viewing, and sometimes there's a lag in the loading of the module, which means...
