<<Song: I Believe in Little Things. Me thinks it was Gordon's voice singing, but I'm not sure.
This remake I liked because it stayed true to the spirit of the original.>>
Yeah. It did sound like Gordon's voice, only a bit deeper, so I'm not sure.
<<But Mike the Ladybug was also made...
Well, it's a classic Oscar the Grouch moment to have his elephant squirt someone. I guess it wouldn't have been as funny if she ran away.
In response to what you said about Spinney and Vogel, well Carroll's not as young as he used to be, so Matt's Big Bird is able to move around in different...
Okay, that sounds familiar. Even if I haven't seen that one before, I've seen quite a few that were very similar, so I guess I didn't miss much there. Thanks anyway.
Could you elaborate a little bit on what happened in this segment? I missed it. If it's new, I'd like to try to catch it tomorrow afternoon. Please let me know. Thanks.
I just saw it. Unfortunately, the "Journey to Bert" thing will probably be on tomorrow's show which makes sense. I guess they have to wait until Big Bird becomes big again to do that.
As for the show itself. Pretty good, I guess. It was good to see Mumford again. Though I don't think...
There was also a Dove soap ad with Miss Piggy. She didn't say anything, but what happened was a bunch of celebrities were showing new looks after using the soap. Piggy, of course was one of them.
Yeah. I know about the situation about congress cutting funding for PBS. But then again, even before that happened they still had all those sponsors. I could only imagine how the network would be if the situation with congress hadn't been resolved. Anyway, thanks for the info.
That's sad. I thought they had too many sponsors already. Whatever happened to the good old days of PBS where they didn't have advertisements at all? They just went straight into the show.
By the way, D'Snowth, in response to your post, I'm guessing they did play the full opening theme...
Okay, back to the "Little Big Bird" episodes. I looked at the information for that on the Sesame Workshop website. Something else that will probably appear during this series is a new "Journey to Bert" segment. That's been mentioned before, but up until now nothing official had been stated...
Yeah, I was going to mention that. I think he also talked to Luis as well.
Also, there were instances when the gang saw Kermit on TV such as in "Follow That Bird" or "Elmo Saves Christmas," but there was no direct interaction. I think by the time I started watching the show in the 80s...
According to my local TV listings, they are playing "Elmo's World: Happy Holidays," at least in this area. It might be a while before we see "Elmo Saves Christmas" on TV again though.
I think some sources say that was Henson, but I think I read somewhere that it was really another guy and Henson only dubbed in the voice. I can't remember the guy's name though.
Oh. I get it. I guess since the Muppets aren't really promoting anything at the moment, they're just doing Christmas carols on their TV appearances but nothing real big. Hopefully, we'll see the Muppets on TV more to promote season 2 of TMS whenever that comes out. Thanks for the info.
Oh. Okay. Though I guess we should also mention Natalie, even though she was only there for one episode. The intention was to keep her there for about a week. I think she would have been called 'Natalie' if she had stayed.
Anyway, I guess I see your point. I can't really see the "Sesame...
Hmmmm. I never really noticed that before. I wish they still did that. Now there just focused on seasons 34 and 36. What's wrong with season 35? Also, since they showed the hurricane episodes I would like to see more eps from that season especially since it was before the format change.
