Yeah, I remember seeing Forgetful on "Here is Your Life." Especially his line about his mother, "She's the one wearing a dress."
Maybe you could download that clip on the web, MuppetDude. After all, I could understand it in Spanish! :zany:
I think somebody mentioned before that Linda Bove did talk. I just can't remember exactly when. I don't think it was on "Sesame Street" but on another show or something.
Well, Linda has still been seen in inserts which were probably from previous seasons. Someone mentioned seeing her in a season 34 episode when she did the sign for 'hot.' She also appeared in 'Bob's Deaf Neice' only not in the street story, but in a sketch where she and another lady were...
Definately Dudley Moore. In the Kaye Ballard ep, Floyd was the only one to speak up and nothing was really resolved at the end. At least the Dudley Moore episode, the whole band was involved. (Though I wish Zoot or Janice would have had some lines.) And I liked the plot with MOMMA and Gonzo...
Well, on the subject of "imaginary friends," some people have complained that after the adults were introduced to Snuffy it took away Big Bird's right to have imaginary friends. I guess they tried to fix that situation with Rocco, or even with Baby Bear's friend "Hewo Guy."
I'm glad I finally got a response here. I did send another e-mail to her. Whether still respond or not, I don't know. Every girl is different, so this girl might not have the same opinion as girls you talked to. She might be 'old-fashioned.' Then again, you might be right. After all, it...
Hmmmm. Well, it's been a while since I've heard any of Clementine's voices, but I guess you're right. Camille did start performing on the show in the late 80s and I haven't seen a lot of episodes around that time. I wish I could find sound files of each of her different voices. It might be...
I think I know who you're talking about. He also once made a joke about a carrot being good for the "I's." I thought that WAS Preston, until I saw Preston's pic in Sesame Encyclopedia. I can't recall the name of that other rabbit either. Maybe it was Professor Something.
Well, Zoe wasn't the first to have a pet rock. I remember years ago, Bert sang a song about his pet rock. He must have been the one to get her into it. Lol.
Dahling von Dahling's still on the show today. We've established that it was her and not von Backwards in the "Number of the Day" segments. I do remember seeing a Countess when I watched the show back in the 80s. (Some examples: The Count counted how many times he asked her to marry him and...
Actually, I don't recall her having a different voice. The one I remember mostly was her having a raspy old-lady like sound. I don't know, it's hard to describe it and I can't download the sound of the voice on the computer. Anyway, I think the one I remember was Camille. The other voices...
I thought it might be good to have Grungetta sing that one, but a grouch wouldn't call herself 'pretty.' She'd have to change it to 'ugly' or 'rotten' or something.
I can do that with the first season guests. After that it gets kind of fuzzy. Maybe I should listen to Scooter's "Major Modern General" song again. Lol.
I never knew Kevin performed Clementine. I thought it was just Brian and Camille. I'm assuming she took over sometime in the 80s since that's when she started puppateering.
Yeah. That would be better. Gabi's too nice to sing about how pretty she is. Like I said, it would be kind of egotistical. Maybe she could change it to "You're pretty" and maybe sing it to Zoe or somebody.
I guess this is a good place to post this. I sort of felt ashamed the other day. A while a go I was talking about "Sesame Street" on IM with someone on this forum. (I won't drop any names or anything like that.) Then last night, I found someone on IM with a similar screenname. I thought it...
Yeah. Definately. I remember Joe Raposo singing it, but I guess it would sound better if a female sang it. Although that might make her sound a bit egotistical. I don't know.
