Yeah. I watched the "Subway" skit just now. I'm trying to think whether or not I saw it when I was little. I don't recall seeing Betty Lou on the show too often. Her voice sounded different than I'd expected. I also don't recall seeing Bert and Kermit together, so I wonder about that. The...
Real good story so far. I like the introduction of all the characters and the explanation of Oscar changing colors. Only one thing I'm kind of confused about. At what point did Oscar decide to be grouchy? He was being nice at the beginning of the story, so what happened in between. I must...
That was really good. Especially the part with Oscar. It's nice to know even though he's a grouch, he cared for Mr. Hooper. I also like that you brought up the scene on "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street" with Mr. Hooper's interaction with :( and :p . That was one of his best moments.
I do remember reading that the actor Bob McGrath was married and had five sons. However, on "Sesame Street," Bob has never been married. He did have something going on with Linda though. And yes, Miles is Gordon's son. I hope this info helps.
Harvey Kneeslapper! I didn't get a chance to look through those much. I knew I was missing something. I did look at the original Grover in the "First and Last" sketch. I'd describe his old voice to be more like Sam the Eagle. Plus I looked through other good clips with modern Grover that...
Hmmm. I didn't see the one with the proto-Grover. I'll have to look for that. Actually, I should read this thread more often. When I go to the "You Tube" site and type in "Sesame Street" there are so many of them that it's hard to single out what I'd really like to see. When I notice the...
Yeah. I checked the DVD website and noticed that they are releasing The Real Ghostbusters, but just random eps not season by season sets. I think the reason for that is because season two was about a hundred something episodes, so it would take a long time to set up a disk set of that whole...
Yeah. The clips changed in the third season. I used to have the first season eps of Dinosaurs on video which has a different opening then what was seen on TV. I think I remember the second season opening having slightly different clips then the first season. But it's been so long since I've...
Yeah. I don't like that they redid the song this season, but didn't do the original sketch with the baker. They really should have stuck with the originals. They did the one for number #10 on "The Street We Live On" special. They should show the others as well, especially the one for number...
Maybe that's why Sully never spoke. He might have thought that nobody would listen to him. I'm just guessing though considering there were probably quite a few sketches before that with the mute Sully.
Just thought I'd add a few here. In "A Picture is Worth 1000 Bucks" what Peter asks the hotel clerk if they have bellhops that are rats like the Muppets.
Actually, that's the only one I can think of that wasn't mentioned. I'm sure there were much more. I guess I'll come up with them later on.
Alright, I've got it working now, so I can sleep tonight. Lol. I enjoyed that. Eric's performance as Piggy was really good. Much better than the last one with Piggy and the bullhorn.
Yeah, I'm looking at it right now and it isn't loading. I thought it was just my computer, but maybe it's the site. Anyway, thanks for posting that. If it doesn't come up on the Internet, I'll watch for it on TV.
Yeah, I've noticed a difference too. But I thought of it more as 'Kermit's' signature song, rather than 'Jim's.' I mean I thought it was good that Steve was given a chance at that one. After all, he sang "Rainbow Connection" on the Craig Kilborn show.
Rats
I checked the superbowl site and I found was the pizza hut ad with just Jessica. What do I click on to get it on the "Pizza Hut" site? That might help.
O.K. I guess imdb.com gave some erroneous information about Northern Calloway being on the show until 1992, meaning the second actor to play Mr. Hanford wouldn't have been on the show until later than that, but I get it now.
In answer to your question, no, I don't remember the ep with Oscar...
Well, Slimey gets quite a bit of airtime these days even when Oscar's not around. Let's see whatelse I can remember. There was Maria and Grungetta in the shoe store in one episode. I'll probably add more to the list later on.
Yeah, I want to look through that again. I did look at the Barkley closing and the Big Bird appearance on the Today show, but I missed a lot of other good stuff. I'd really like to see that original Elmo. Though it's too bad he doesn't say anything in that one.
Something that I noticed...
