Carlo Alban's greatest fear while working on Sesame

Yeah. It's hard to believe how egotistical some celebrities can be. In fact not just celebrities, I recall when Muppets were on the recent version of "Hollywood Squares," they rarely got picked. It seemed like contestants were more concerned with winning than giving the Muppets some air time.

    Your Muppet mistakes

Yeah. That really shocked me when I found that out too. I couldn't picture that guy saying, "Hey, Ralphie boy!"

    Sesame Street Character Voice Comparisons

I think the main reason for that was to allow more interaction between :super: and :insatiable:. Yet I don't know a lot of instances where that actually happened except in "Elmo's World: Happy Holidays" and maybe a few "Letter of the Day" segments. I always thought that Matt's BB voice was...

    Sesame Street Character Voice Comparisons

Yeah. I forgot about that, but that would be another reason. Though it wouldn't have been impossible if Marty were to loop in the voices for one of the characters. Yeah. Again, I always thought even Marty's earliest Telly voice moved away from Brians voice, such as in the 'Ask Oscar...

    Sesame Street Character Voice Comparisons

That's Marty? I thought for sure that was Brian as Telly. Even in Marty's earliest Telly appearances, he at least sounds a little similar to how he sounds now. That definitely sounds like a Brian Muehl Telly to me. That would be my guess.

MT: Upstairs Downstairs vs. 39 Stairs

I'd have to say 'The 39 Stairs.' I'm not exactly sure why. I guess I've seen that one more often and consider it to be more memorable.

    Episode 4135 question

:o:) "I think they stopped airing the episode." Lol. Just wanted to post here to stay active on this thread. In all honesty, I think my local station did play that ep recently, but maybe I'm wrong. I'll have to check on that again.

    Muppet Film and TV References

Hmmmm. Since you brought it up I sort of notice a slight resemblence between the two of them.

Seven Years Later: Disney buys Muppets and Bear

When I think about it, I have to agree with a lot of the comments here. The Muppets haven't really seen the spotlight in quite a while. Heck, it was even Disney's decision to have an alternate performer for Kermit on "America's Got Talent" which didn't go over very well. We'll just have to...

Sesame Street classic clips on YouTube

Thanks for the suggestion. Though I was hoping to find it online, rather than spending a lot of money on that, but it's something to think about.

Your Thoughts: "Pioneers of Television" with Jim Henson

Yeah. The one I grew up with was "Romper Room and Friends" with Miss Molly. I was sort of wondering about that. I might want to look up the info for that show. It may have just been on a local station in my area. There was also one called 'Hatchy Milatchy' which was on channel 16, my local...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 41

Okay, I get it. Though I think calling Bret, Burt might more likely have been to make it rhyme with 'dirt.' I'm not sure how they got 'Hiram' out of 'Jermaine' though. I'm thinking another reason the names were changed might have been because of copyright issues.

Sesame Street classic clips on YouTube

early Snuffy appearances I figured this would be a good thread to ask about this. Does anyone have the ending of Snuffy's debut episode? I saw the clip where BB and Snuffy first meet, but I've been looking for the ending where BB asks where he went and Snuffy answered "Well, I suppose so." I...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 41

That's actually a good question. I don't know why they would name an AM Burt, when they already have a 'Bert' who would even have made an appearance if his scene hadn't been cut out. I suppose for the sake of rhyming they could have called him Curt or something, so maybe you're right about...

    Super Bowl XLV: The Commercials

That's neat. A lot of cool TV clips there. Thanks for pointing that out.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 41

*sigh* I guess that's the trouble with seeing those episodes so late in the season. Seems like people stop paying attention to this thread after a while. Oh, well. What can you do?

    The New Movie: The Muppets

I was wondering about Pepe too. He has become one of the major Muppet stars since 'Muppets From Space' so I'm assuming he would be, but maybe you're right about this being a 'back to the beginning' thing. Though if that's the case, they ought to make a 'Sesame Street' movie without Elmo. Lol.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 41

Yeah. I noticed that, but I can comment on 'Dirtballs' now since I've seen it for the first time today. Overall, I thought that was a good episode. Oscar plots are always good because it's a twist from the usual plot. Sort of like in animation and in movies when the villian tries to wreck...

    Baby Natasha

I've been doing some research on that too. My sister actually just had a baby named Natasha. I believe I read it was in season 17 or 18. I'm not exactly sure when here debut episode was though.

Why people dislike modern Sesame Street

Those are good thoughts, but I doubt it. If these problems could have been solved by magic, those stories show wouldn't really have had much of a plot. After all, Mumford was around back then and you didn't see him doing tricks like that.
