I never thought about it that way, though I do recall the rumors about Ernie dying when Jim Henson died. But I think they could do that because this is actually the first we heard of Uncle Jack. If he had been a regular on the show, then that wouldn't have been easy. Though according to a...
Yeah. Someone also previously mentioned another ep featuring Bert where he and the gang are looking for a rare bird. If that's the case it will have Bert in two street stories this season (aside from brief cameos or whatever). That would be amazing.
Yeah. You'll have to blame 'The Count' for that one, Snowth. Lol. I don't think there's anyone here who's dumb enough to tell people up front that it's a joke. That would take the fun out of it.
BTW, you're right on the money with what you said. I read on Muppet Wiki about those before...
SESAME STREET SEASON 41 EPISODE GUIDE
I received this info via e-mail from a friend of a friend who works at Sesame Workshop:
Episode 4213 Hooper's Store celebrates "Twins Day." Abby and Zoe want to become twins so they can participate in the festivities.
Episode 4214 Abby enlists the...
I know what you mean there, because I just saw the Echo Rock eps the other day and there was a scene with Brian's Telly. In fact, I heard that Telly in quite a bit of material. You can definitely tell there's a difference, but I really don't think there's that much of a case with Jim's and...
I wonder about that. It seems like that's never stopped them before. But they used to do a lot of different things before than they did now. Personally, I think that would be a dumb reason not to play clips with Henson's Ernie, because the voices are close enough for kids who watch not to...
I checked the website and despite BB not getting much airtime, the season sounds pretty good. I'm assuming they meant to say 'Herry (Monster)' when they described 'Harry' as Oscar's employee. It will be good to see him and Bert in a street scene.
It's also nice to see Barkley and a Telly...
One thought I had on that was maybe they feel that people already can see those clips on You Tube or the Sesame Workshop website, so I guess they figure 'why bother?' I guess it does get costly to play old clips especially with PBS cutting the funding these days.
In a way, I can understand what Snowth is saying because if neither Carroll or Matt is available to play him, then they probably will limit his airtime. But I agree with DrTooth as well, they can't just phase out their most famous character. Well, I guess second most famous, next to Elmo. It...
Yeah. I saw that on the website. I hope someday that I can feel that way about a girl. BTW, in response to a previous post, Forgetful and Clementine aren't married. Not yet anyway.
That actually doesn't surprise me that much. BB had very little airtime in season 38 as well. Still I find it hard to believe they'd phase out one of their most popular characters. But if Spinney actually mentioned it.... we'll just have to wait and see. I hope they're wrong.
BTW, I...
It's alright. You're entitled to your opinion. It's just a little surprising that it's different from the rest of ours. I guess you're one of those people who feels that it's true some people felt that other performers could do a closer Kermit to Jim's Kermit than Steve has done, and that's...
Keep in mind that Roosevelt was supposed to make a cameo this year, unless they edited out that cameo for that same reason.
Hoots still appears on occassion. Remember the famous 'Cookie is a Sometime Food' song?
Of course we saw Barkley in this year's season premiere, as for Alice, well...
