I have to agree with you there. I have seen quite a few eps on You Tube and it seems like the earlier Marty Robinson Snuffy back in the days when he was considered 'imaginary,' doesn't sound quite as energetic as he does now. He did have more of a quieter voice back then. Heck, I laugh at the...
I've been thinking the exact same things. Even though Gonzo is one of the few Muppets who is performed by the same guy who originally performed him, he does sound quite different now than he did in the first season of 'The Muppet Show.' In fact, some say that Pepe's voice has changed over the...
Well, if they'd come up with some new ideas rather than showing the same ones over and over again it wouldn't be so bad. Just something to think about.
I agree. It's a start but I still miss the old letter/number of the day sketches with the Count and Cookie Monster. It would be neat to have them interact with Murray every once in a while.
Yeah. I've noticed Frank has performed Grover in most of those, though there are exceptions. In the Muppet Voice Comparison video, they showed one with Eric as Grover who's the waiter for Mr. Johnson. Plus I think Eric voiced him last season when he did the letter G and letter V games, but...
So that's Frank as Grover? Good to see his still performing his characters on occasion. I look forward to seeing the rest of that. Those Grover/Mr. Johnson skits are always the best.
I have to agree. Even if they stop airing new eps, the show wouldn't be gone for good. They could maybe do what they did when Mr. Rogers retired. Just keep playing repeats from earlier seasons. Though they may be pretty cautious about how far back they would be willing to go. It's...
Good to hear Roscoe Orman's still around as well. In another thread, someone startled me with the news that he was departing, but I guess that was just a rumor. I wonder how involved B&E (not sure if we still have those Muppet smilies or not) will really be involved there. Remember we were...
Yeah. It seems like they're missing a Snuffy voice comparison. I'd like to see how that guy would describe Marty's Snuffy in comparison with Jerry Nelso and Michael Earl.
That is something to think about since I know other Muppets have interacted with Snuffy before. (Ex: Dr. Nobel Price discovering Snuffy's cousin, Oscar and Telly seeing Snuffy before he was revealed) I wonder about Barkley as well. He couldn't talk so even if he did believe Big Bird, he...
I never heard of him being removed. I surely hope not. Roscoe/Gordon is about the best actor on the show. He did stop mentioning 'The Good Egg/Viewer's Like You' sponsors and handed that role over to Chris if that's what you're talking about.
Yeah. There were quite a few eps with imaginary Snuffy references that I still have yet to see. Heck, I'd like to someday see the ep where Gordon, Linda and Maria started believing BB about Snuffy before the others did. But unfortunately, it seems like a lot of these clips are long lost.
I'm glad you mentioned that. I just turned it on now, but I guess there's no reason to stay tuned, unless anyone wants to see Suzanne Somers talk about her career in informercials. Lol.
They post the videos online, right? I'm alsways super busy on Fridays and may not have time to catch Elmo's appearance, so it would be nice to see it later if I get a chance.
I have noticed that they would sometimes do that with certain inserts. Pardon me for getting off topic, but I noticed they did a Spanish cartoon about the letter 'a' in the episode where the gang went to Puerto Rico. I wonder about the original version of that one, since they showed a rug...
