Thanks for posting that, Sseta. I tried it on the TMZ site, but they only showed a short clip. Just wanted to post here while it's loading and get rid of the 'you haven't posted in a while message.' I haven't had a chance to listen to the full version of that song. Sounds like they might be...
Thanks for pointing that out. I'm wondering if maybe it's Marty doing the voice there. That Bruno sounds a bit like Snuffy. I might want to listen to his voice in 'Follow that Bird' again for comparison.
Well, this sounds promising. They had a good new Monsterpiece Theater (American Monster Classics) in one recent ep, so why not give this a try. Though I'm not too fond of his new get-up though. After all, even in recent years Grover has still worn his old classic Super Grover uniform. Oh...
Yeah. Joey should figure out someway to work BB into the show more. After all he's been the star since the show began. I agree that there is too much focus on the other other characters like Elmo and Abby. They should maybe give BB his own segment or at least play earlier sketches with him...
Okay. I got one. My mom has believed that Frank Oz has performed Kermit at least after Henson's death. Crazy, huh?
That could be why it was referenced in IVAMCM.
Yeah. I think Bruno's usaully mute so Carroll Spinney can perform both him and Oscar at the same time. He did have a line in 'Follow that Bird.' I don't think it's Carroll who voices Bruno the few times he speaks. I think someone else dubs the line in, I'm just not sure who.
I agree. Someone who isn't really a hardcore Muppet fan probably wouldn't know the difference between Jim's Kermit and Steve's Kermit. But for the rest of us, recasts are something that we need to get used to. I agree that Matt was very well as Floyd. I look forward to seeing him in the...
Yeah. I think Scooter was real close to Richard's actual voice and that is one of the hardest to imitate which is most likely why it's been hard for Henson associates to find a replacement performer for him.
The scary thing is you might be right there. Seems like Alan may be next to go. In most of the recent eps it seems like Chris does everything at Hooper's so they may not have much of a need for Alan. Plus I think he heard that he was on a different show as well.
Yeah. I remember hearing 'The Question Song' and 'Just Because' on a cassette tape and I always thought the girl was Prairie, but I guess those were made early on before Prairie's current personality was established.
Yeah. I haven't seen much of Mr. H on the show. My first memories of him came from 'Christmas Eve on Sesame Street' and his book appearances. It's nice that we can watch eps/inserts with him online though.
That was interesting that you mentioned that, Minor Muppets because as soon as I read the first thread here, I had the unidentified pre-Matt Robinson Gordon in mind. Maybe someday we'll find out who he was as well. That would be neat that someone would get paid each time someone watches only a...
Yeah, I've seen the Big Bird/Buffy chemistry on You Tube. I guess he referred to her as his best friend as well as Snuffy. (He must have an interest in making friends with 'Uffy' in their names.) I also hear that she actually believed Big Bird when he told her about Snuffy.
Yep. That's what I remember most about Uncle Wally:
"Let the duckie squeak."
Let's see, what else do I remember about him. I know he used to play tricks on Bob. I recall one of them was that he gave Bob a package which was in a box, in a bag, in wrapping paper or something, then it...
Thanks for the update, StreetScenes. After all, you know she's in every episode of each season and they couldn't continue the show without here. :) Just kidding, but it would be nice to see her more often. Glad she's doing better.
