One of the machines I use appears to have pro-actively downloaded and installed the plugin on its own! I haven't worked out how it happened yet, but I regard this as a serious breach of my security. I trust Windows about as far as I could comfortably spit out a rat, and pretty much the first...

We had our own bagpiper in full regalia at New Years, and the neighbours decided to find out whether he was a real Scot as he stood piping in the freezing street...he was :-)

The funny thing is, when I watched IAVMMCM, the 'replacement' voices that jarred were Statler and Waldorf's! I think it's probably 'cos I've been mainlining season 1 TMS for the last six months and got used to their original voices... :)

Not to mention that IE will bring up that dialog for *every* page with Flash in it, and there's no way to tell it that you do not want to install Flash, ever! I've been forced to install the horrible thing just to get rid of the persistent requests to download it.

This is a massive coincidence, but I've just watched my first FR - ever - pretty much exactly 20 years to the minute after its first tx! I'm not sure why I never watched it when I was a kid - I was certainly aware of it, and we'd always watched TMS. Just one o' those things :-) *beginning...

Thanks for the correction! I vaguely recalled reading somewhere that Bill did the 'Shalom' line in MFS, and of course the character was barely visible in VMC so I hadn't realised he'd been handed on :-)
