Just because I like to stir things up a bit, I present to you... Survey Madness!

Last year's Bonfire Night went one step further. Apparently a kid fired a firework directly at an oncoming car. The thing went straight through the windscreen and out the back. I don't think anyone was hurt, fortunately. And my mother reported that she saw cars kerbcrawling, with the...

You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a little note on the windscreen. It said, 'Parking Fine.' So that was nice.

Police arrested two kids yesterday: one was drinking battery acid, the other was eating fireworks. They charged one and let the other one off. :p :D One o' these days I'm gonna set up a webcam pointed at my parking space...

Where I live: plenty of space for the kids to play safely, so where do they play? In the middle of the dam' road. I figure it's only a matter of time before one of them gets hit by a car, and while I've got no desire to scratch my paintwork, I'm in favour of anything that'll knock some...

Given the local temperatures, Britain is about the least likely place for streaking to take off, so naturally it had to be us! Incidentally, should that have read "cackled"? Only "cacked" has a totally other meaning... :)

Ok, this is the full UK singles chart rundown: "Everything Is Beautiful" - first charted 16 May 1970, 16 weeks on the chart, peaked at #6 "Bridget The Midget (The Queen Of The Blues)" - first charted 13 March 1971, 14 weeks on the chart, peaked at #2 "Turn Your Radio On" - first charted...

Where can i get figures in the UK?

I just picked up the 'exclusive' Gonzo in FP in Edinburgh :-) Dunno how they got hold of it, but I'm not complaining!

FWIW, "The Streak" was written about the very British craze that swept the country in the summer of '74. :)

Not everything charted, of course, and most of the ones that did never made the top ten (and this was all in the 70s, the decade that taste forgot!). I'll post the complete list tonight if I remember.

Round where I live I'm more concerned that one of the local brats will decide to stick a firework up the exhaust pipe...

Interesting thing about Muppet Central that can wreak havoc on people computers...

Funnily enough, installing the plugin solved the problem. I'm not talking about the main page, I'm talking about the splash page you had for a few hours. I installed the plugin, clicked on the image, and I was in.

Interesting thing about Muppet Central that can wreak havoc on people computers...

I think it could make things easier for new users. When the new-look site was launched, I was able to find out why I had a blank screen by diving into the page source, but how many non-techy users would even know to do that?
