Given the local temperatures, Britain is about the least likely place for streaking to take off, so naturally it had to be us! Incidentally, should that have read "cackled"? Only "cacked" has a totally other meaning... :)

I just picked up the 'exclusive' Gonzo in FP in Edinburgh :-) Dunno how they got hold of it, but I'm not complaining!

FWIW, "The Streak" was written about the very British craze that swept the country in the summer of '74. :)

Not everything charted, of course, and most of the ones that did never made the top ten (and this was all in the 70s, the decade that taste forgot!). I'll post the complete list tonight if I remember.

Funnily enough, installing the plugin solved the problem. I'm not talking about the main page, I'm talking about the splash page you had for a few hours. I installed the plugin, clicked on the image, and I was in.

I think it could make things easier for new users. When the new-look site was launched, I was able to find out why I had a blank screen by diving into the page source, but how many non-techy users would even know to do that?
