Yeah, those are photo puppets. And, if I remember right, Wembley's hair did have all those different colors in it. :coy:
It is a picture I haven't seen before, though. It's possible that they rebuilt the posers.
Ha ha! Nice. I would have taken the I.O.U. Muppets, too. :p
Hope whoever bought 'em enjoys 'em! (and doesn't just turn around and make a huge profit on eBay) :coy: :)
Weird Al Yankovic is deffinitely on my list!
Choose: Steve Martin. Yes, he was in The Muppet Movie, but I'd still like to see him work with the Muppets again.
Choose: Bernadette Peters. I love her with the Muppets, it'd be cool if she could be in a Muppet movie, too. She's really talented...
Yeah, for all you know, it could just be a way of getting some free publicity for her new movie. Kinda like her marriage to Brad Pitt was for Mr. and Mrs. Smith...
:zany: *gets pelted with penguins and tomatoes*
I'm kidding! I'm kidding!
Perhaps this is kind of an odd choice, but...
:flirt: Choose: Amy Adams. She's kinda new, but she's really, really good! I like her work so far. I think she'd be great with the Muppets.
Firstly, his name is Caroll. C-A-R-O-L-L (no, it doesn't matter that it's mis-spelled as Carroll in the credits for both The Muppet Movie and The Great Muppet Caper, it's still Caroll. :)).
Secondly, that sounds like a really good idea! I like it. It would be interesting to see it get pulled...
"'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"
He took his vorpal...
I think his "no CGI" comment refers to the fact that he doesn't want to replace the Muppets with CG characters. There are several techniques you can use to pull off a complicated Muppet shot without CGI (the only use of it would be to remove the puppeteers). That kind of shot is a thousand times...
Beau, the El Sleazo owner is James Cobourn.
Favorite Cameos:
The Muppet Movie - Orson Welles. It seems like they saved the best for last here. He seems to be respected by so many people. And, the scene seals the Muppets as genuine movie stars.
The Great Muppet Caper - Jerry Nelson and...
Since he doesn't have a name, and he's really just a running gag, that'd be kinda difficult. Though, it's some nice information.
Perhaps it could be mentioned on the Frank Oz page at some point.
Yes! Big Bird as a croquet bat! Fantastic!
I don't know how you spell Croak-eh. I think I'll just spell it like that from now on. Croak-eh. A Canadian frog. :)
Maybe Big Bird will narrate it. :wisdom:
Rick Lyon used large, plastic spoons for the eyes. Not the disposable plastic spoons, but serving spoons. I'm not sure what he used for the bags under his eyes, but although his are plastic, you could get a nice effect just using a piece of tan fabric.
I'd say, for the horns, you really just...
Well, that's what I meant. If she played the villain, then she would be starring in it, just like Grodin and Curry starred in the Muppet movies that they were in.
:smirk: It said "starring"? Hmmm.
If it's a cameo, I think it's a great idea! But, starring? ... Ooooh! Maybe she'd be the bad guy! Then "starring" would be a fine word to use! It would be like saying Charles Grodin starred in The Great Muppet Caper, or Tim Curry starred in Muppet Treasure...
Well, I do believe that alot of what's ultimately filmed should be somewhat "on the spot". But, I also think that should be built up from something solid.
Then again, Cassablanca was based on a play, so they did have something.
A certain amount of ad-libbing is always great for movies...
