... Miss Piggy is sexing up the Muppets? How wrong does that sound?
:o :flirt:  <--- emotions felt when first reading that comment. (shock/laugh, flirt, scared/sad)
Jamie, you've inspired me. Cheeky Muppet Moments, what a thread that'll make!
I apologize if you felt we were "attacking" your opinion. With my post, at least, I was just stating facts. I want you to understand my point of view on the matter. The Muppets have never been for kids. The writers...
I know Jerry Nelson voiced Snuffleupagus for a while after he stopped performing him, but, according to Michael Earl Davis, he didn't like doing just the voice.
I hope he is well enough to perform in the movie, but I know he's pretty much retired from his The Muppet Show characters. Those...
Well, Raquel Welch was, to quote Kermit the Frog, "one of the sexiest ladies alive," and she worked with the Muppets. The Muppets are not specifically for children. They're for everyone! The Muppets have always worked with "sex symbols" and have used innuendos and some racy humor... even...
Sounds like the Muppets will be making a guest appearance on "What Not to Wear".
:D <--- funky dressed Muppet
:coy: <--- banana shirt dressed Muppet
:) <--- nude Muppet
Interesting. Exciting. Good news? ... Yes. Yes, I think so.
I don't care for the Muppets co-stars for this special, but at least it brings the Muppets into the public eye, and hopefully, it'll atract a new audience to the Muppets.
The Snowths and the Electric Mayhem? Very cool. But... what...
Along with that, Sam the American Eagle has recently joined YouTube: Sam the Eagle's YouTube account
I think it's official. It doesn't seem like something that will be on Muppets.com. It's either something that got leaked, or a YouTube exclusive.
So, I suppose the message here is, if you...
I gotta get that CD now.
Very nice! Were the puppets intentionally supposed to look like the band members? The owl looks a lot like Stephen Page. Who made them?
While the idea about just using it like a regular hand puppet is good, this particular idea, with the monofilament line, would allow a single puppeteer to, perhaps, control multiple (more than two) mushrooms at once, if it were set up right.
"A Frog is Born" was a special feature originally planned for the DVD set, but was ultimately abandoned. A shame, because it was apparently created (otherwise, I don't think Whitmire would have promoted it).
:o Fozzie was right. "A Frog is Born" is not on any copy of "The Muppet Show: Season...
I don't think anyone has said that they don't want to be surprised. I'm just saying there's a certain amount of information that can be revealed, and still keep the film itself a surprise. Neither Cory Edwards or Jason Segel have revealed anything major about their scripts, but they're still...
About as "stoked" as us fans are!
:excited: :D :zany: <--- Huzzah smilies!
I like knowing a bit about the process before the movie actually comes out. I don't like having the story, or any major surprises spoiled beforehand, but otherwise, I love hearing about movies months in advance...
Darn! I thought I had something original. Or, at least it was half original. At least I'm consistant.
Here's my updated question then:
I noticed that Beauregard has a tendency to show a more heroic side. In The Great Muppet Caper, Beauregard was the only one "fighting" with Nicky Holiday...
I have a question about Beauregard (the Muppet, not the Muppet Central member). The writers for The Muppet Show, found it difficult to write for Beauregard because he didn't really have any desires. It's been noted this is possibly the reason why he hasn't been included in much of anything since...
:scary:
Seems to me there was an early report about the Muppet Theater being bought out by an ol company or something like that. I'm fairly certain it was just a rumor.
Especially Kermit's Swamp Years. If it weren't for the bad guy in that movie, I would have liked it a lot more.
Agreed...
