I can't believe what has been announced on The Hollywood Reporter. It gets me saying "really???" But this could be exciting.
"Following the success of the recent Disney+ special Muppets Haunted Mansion, the Muppets will be starring in a brand new direct to Disney+ feature film based on...
I had considered a similar post where I said that, after there’s been so many recurring segments with animated versions of the SST Muppets as well as a couple of fully animated specials, the show would be completely reformatted as a 100% animated series.
Well, for the last few months, we have known that there will be a set of Electric Mayhem re-action figures. But now it’s been announced there will be more in Fall.
A three- figure Pigs in Space and a three-figure Veterinarians Hospital. Hmm, if The Electric Mayhem series is six figures, this...
It's been announced that for season 53, there'll be a curriculum of reuniting with old friends and families, with discussion on how sometimes friends drift apart and can't be around as much as before.
As part of this curriculum, the season will include return guest appearances by Gordon...
Just the other day, I watched an episode of The Muppet Show on YouTube, a slowed down video… and in slow motion, almost everybody sounds like a Richard Hunt character (and not just Richard Hunt’s characters).
So in the third episode, it's established that the Fraggle Pond gets its water from the pipes when the Pipe Bangers bang on the pipes, which comes because Doc hears noise in the pipes and has to turn it on.
So I wonder how they got the water both before Doc moved and after. I often feel like...
Love Lifted Me.
In particular, the version sung in a promo for the Ronald McDonald House of Charity (as seen at the end of the Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue VHS).

I am excited for this. I hope it includes a lot of Muppet footage not on Disney +. I also hope it leads to more Muppet content coming to the service (even if we have to wait until closer to the documentary's release).
I watched this to see how Disney+ edited it. The final scene is an especially bad edit (showing a wipe during the scene). I can't decide whether it would have just been better to start that part with Floyd telling Fozzie to take off his shades.
Would it have been so bad if they left in all...
This may sound weird but.... Anybody ever notice that, while Red Fraggle has two pigtails, the surface of her head is otherwise bald? Seems like normally the only hair she has is in her pigtails, with no hair surrounding the very top of her head. I wonder if this would qualify as a puppet...
This thought recently got into my mind. Is Muppet Labs a realistic kind of sketch for a variety show?
sure, they are comedy sketches, but in the universe of the show, the various mishaps are not intentional. I guess it’s two scientists showing off a talent - showing how their inventions work...
In The Muppet Show opening, when the title logo lowers, does anybody know why Kermit and Fozzie move from where they are? They are the only ones who move out of the way (I would think Miss Piggy would be more likely to move away than Fozzie would).
Did all five themed days of The Mickey Mouse Club have their own theme song? I know that The Best of Disney: 50 Years old Magic shows the "Anything Can Happen Day" theme, and the "Fun with Music" theme was on a Sing-Along Songs video (and was the title song, even though the cover represented...
Now I wonder if it’d be good if the main Muppets outside of the Electric Mayhem were kind of treated like TMS guest stars by each only appearing in one episode (and perhaps having them all appear in the season finale).
though if it is documentary style, I guess that format would lend itself...
I forgot about this and didn’t get to watch it live (I had a few questions, though it looks like those were answered after all).
People on the Toughpigs forum were hoping each episode would be more an excuse for the band to perform, with minimal linking plot. Looks like it’s not going to be...
One thing I had not thought about until tonight: Gonzo sees that his trunk of his fungus collection lacks mildew, and he and Scooter seem to go to get it.... I would have thought that he'd open the trunk (and effectively let Kermit out) to put the mildew in.
I'm actually surprised by how much Buddy appears in this. It feels like he gets more screen time compared to other guest stars. He's practically in the whole first half.
Was that a special Beaker puppet built for this, or did they alter one of the spare ones from the Mac Davis episode (many...
I was surprised, I expected the Arabs oil plotline to be in more of the episode then it actually was, and the "Kermit gets injured" plotline to be featured less than it was.
After reading the description/rundown on the Muppet Home Page episode guide (and having been familiar with quite a few...
