I've actually been doing a bit of research about soy foam. Looks like it will still have eurethane in it, but not so much. My mouse died, otherwise I'd link you to the article I found.

Oh that's interesting to hear that about Felt. I've only heard good reviews, but it's all been from improvisers who might just be happy to see a gimmick that doesn't get too gamey.

It's certainly not a cart for stock products. It *can* be, I suppose, but the idea of handmade items shouldn't be stock in the first place. I have three things that I recreate for my shop for which I use the same photo (a set of frog finger puppets & 2 finger-puppet stands), and everything else...

It still says it's been removed by the user.

The papier mache is indeed super time consuming which is why i've only done it twice....they do last for a long time, though.

Our theater uses white styrofoam. We coat it with several layers of paper maiche, letting it dry between layers & sand it down (using glue-paste & grocery bags) between layers. Prime it first & then paint it. Keep in mind that I say "we" but really I've personally only done it like twice.

Oh, hey, kevin, I'll respectfully disagree on one point...I *adore* thinking about the creator! That's what separates the handmade from the mass-produced. There was thought and emotion behind what was created, and seeing his joyful face makes it better for me. At least one photo with the creator...
