I've been selling my work online for two years now, and by far, the best layout is the most simple, with your first photo being the most "seductive"
Great puppet! I do agree with Conor regarding the flashy text. More than likely if someone likes your work enough to buy it, they'll do so...
I definitely am able to do the filtering, but just like good comments from the masses can lift you a bit, hatred can also bring you down.
And yes, it was written feedback, and saturated with emotion. That right there causes me to not give any accreditation to what he has to say.
Basically his...
I know what *I* do with negative feedback, but even though I can laugh it off, of course it affects me to a certain extent.
I'm curious how many others have experienced pure emotionally charged negative feedback about your work & how you deal with it.
While I'm at it, how do you respond to...

OH I think Colbert Puppet is brilliant! I think what you've been doing is right on track. Just keep up with your instincts.
Buck--I think almost every big break is a total fluke.
Totally provides more clarification. I can see that difference.
I use the same building style as I do for my show puppets, but usually the non-show puppets are shorter.
It really sounds like you should put that free-time you have into making a post-card/pamphlet to mail to ad agencies. Like I...
