I applied for a scholarship to PofA's fest in Atlanta, so *fingers crossed* but it only covers registration this year. And I'm pretty sure that lodging & food are in addition to that near $400. Of the festivals that would be the SD comicon equivalent, National PofA is it. I went to Puppetfest...

Hmm, remembering things has never been a strong suit of mine, like punctuation. BUT, someone uses vinyl tubing in their arms & then has the rod inserted into that. I can't remember who & I've never tried it, but its always made a lot of sense to me. I'm willing to bet BuckBeaver remembers.
