I finally finally got to see this one. I just moved to Montgomery AL, and when I got here I didn't have the cable hooked up for a while. So I finally watched Studio DC the other night.
It was . . . okay. I agree with a lot of the positives and negatives that everyone here has pointed out...
I think I remember reading somewhere that Frank Oz would portray Yoda if he appeared in the live-action series that's set to debut in a couple of years. Considering that Yoda would be in exile, that probably wouldn't be very often.
But from a certain perspective you could argue that CG...
I think YouTube and muppets.com are perfect forums to reintroduce the Muppets. The videos are a riot, and the short-running time means that people (especially kids) can just click on and watch them without sitting down to commit to a whole show. What better way for people to rediscover (or...

So . . . handing the Muppets over to young enthusiastic talented people who have been involved with some of the most successful comedies of the past few years (and who happen to be big fans of the Muppets who seem to care about the characters) is a bad idea? Well, shoot, I can't wait until they...
I saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall last night too, and it gave me a ton of confidence for the new Muppet project. The film was very funny, touching, and (perhaps most importantly) very character-based. This can only be good news for the Muppets.
What a great bit of news! It definitely sounds like his brain and his heart are in the right place on this one. I have a lot of faith that this can be a great project!
:) :hungry: :insatiable:
I am VERY excited by this news--I really like the Apatow projects that Segel has been involved with, and I'm encouraged that Stoller was involved with Undeclared as well. I think this is exactly what the Muppets need--an infusion of current cutting edge comedic talent, presumably talent that...
