I'm pretty sure this is the case. I think Matt Vogel does a good job--I can tell the difference, but barely. Nothing about the character seems wrong to me, though.
I actually tend to like Andy Samberg. I don't know--he's got this cheeky energy that I like. As for his Chef impression, I think it has its merits. There need to be more words for it to really be an impression, but I'm not sure that's what he's going for. With the only words really being...
I'm looking forward to Enchanted--from the trailers, it looks very cute. And cute isn't something I take lightly. Especially good cute. I just hope the whole movie holds together as well as the trailers.
SNL--Amazing Muppet Sketch!
Anybody catch the SNL episode with Seth Rogen tonight? The penultimate sketch of the show featured Seth as Rowlf playing piano, Andy Samberg as the Swedish Chef, Maya Rudolph as Janice, Bill Hader as Animal, and someone else (maybe Fred Armisen? maybe Jason...
I like Rich Little as well, but I agree about those moments from his episode. I actually always tend to dislike it when people try to do impressions of the Muppets on the Muppet Show or even just when the Muppets are there. It just never seems to work.
I like the idea of a Chipmunks movie, and the characters seem right, but any movie that has to trash up a fun cartoon from my childhood with a poop-eating joke right in the trailer has already lost a good deal of my respect.
Yeah, me too! I hope it's good. I love the show, but wasn't crazy about the first movie because of how many bits it recycled (that were done better on TV). I'm looking forward to seeing this new one.
So far so good for me with this set. We've been busy / out of town, so I haven't had time to watch them all yet, but I've been enjoying them--some I haven't seen in forever! I do miss the Morsels from the first set though, even though I agree they weren't super-attractive. I always like an...
Very nice. I'll look forward to it. I remember seeing those full-size Monsters Inc. guys at the movies when the movie was out, but the most I got was a picture with them . . . Go you!
We went and saw Sicko the other day, which was both entertaining and infuriating (just the way a Michael Moore film should be). Then I took in the Simpsons Movie for the second time. It really holds up! I think it might even have been funnier the second time because I wasn't judging it.
I think two villains can be done right, but it gets tricky when you throw in more than that. Batman Begins had Ras Al Ghul and Scarecrow, not to mention assorted nefarious underlings. I think the problem is when a movie like this has too many characters and plotlines in general. That's the...
I'm glad there's hope for me as a Chicago Batman stalker.
I have to disagree that Nolan can do no wrong. Just my opinion, actually, but I really wasn't fond of The Prestige. I liked the cast, I liked the overall mood of the film, but I was very unsatisfied by the screenplay and some aspects...
My brother firmly believed that the new Batman movie should be called "Batman Begins Returns." I must say, I agree.
I'm excited about it too, though. It's filming in Chicago this summer, and we're moving there in a couple of weeks. Maybe I can hang out on the streets long enough to sneak...
I just watched an episode yesterday that Tivo got for me, and I had the "old friends" feeling all over again. It's different than so many other shows I watched as a kid, because it's still going on. If it were a show that had lasted for 15 years or so, and it were all reruns today, that...
