Actually, I have to disagree.
Just kidding! Wokka wokka!
Issue #2 was fantastic! What a perfect combination of snappy clever writing and lively expressive art! Bring on Issue #3!
I'm glad I did--it was great! Just perfectly Muppety! I found myself laughing out loud and re-reading some of it (the Narrator / Sam interchanges) aloud to my wife!
I was actually thinking about skipping this one, because I was just so-so on Muppet Robin Hood. But Muppet Peter Pan was SO good, for all of the reasons mentioned here. The writing, the characters, the art were all just spot on! Exactly what they should be. I'm so looking forward to issue...
Yay! Loving this--so great to see the muppets featured in such a huge promotion for Disney! Plus, now I just want to get off my rear end and go volunteer!
That's a really nice way of looking at it, and I tend to share your optimism. There's potential there. I just wish we all knew what was going on--I respect the work that Mr. Whitmire has done too much to be okay his replacing him unless there's a valid reason.
What a boatload of news! I'm having trouble wrapping my head around it all, which can only be a good thing. As long as they maintain the quality, I say the more Muppets the better!
:)
Great report, and so heart-warming to see the whole gang on the boat (with Steve, naturally) after all of the turmoil that's been going on here in the past week or so. We need Kermit, indeed!
:)
Looks great! The extra flappy neck struck me as odd, at first, but that's probably a matter of the pose. Overall this is one good looking frog! If only I could convince my school that it was okay to buy this for the journalism class as an inspirational mascot!
I just saw this and the difference was apparent immediately. All due respect to the performer who took on Kermit, though--that's a high profile and risky thing to do, so congrats to him for having done it.
But seriously, I hope this was just a case of busy / ill Steve. Not that I hope Steve...
Didn't see a "Sesame Headlines" section, but here's a great article I read online this morning.

Flasher Kermit is the best idea for a replica! Make a Left the Salesman and you have a perfect pair!
That said, Rizzo is super-awesome! I'll have to see how much he is, but he's certainly worth getting. Well done! :shifty:
I just want to say a quick hello and a big thank you to Mr. Nelson. Your work has been entertaining, teaching, and uplifting me for my entire life!
I especially want to thank you for giving me a great voice and laugh to imitate while counting out handouts for my high school students...
I think they can. The dvd movies have maintained the style of the show's comedy, I thought. And the people who will tune in are the people who like Futurama--I don't think they'll alienate them, at least not on purpose.
At least, I hope so!
