Hi all,
In a few weeks I'm going to start selling a really good, generic pattern for making hand and rod puppets. The pattern is different than the PuppetProject patterns or other ones because this is more like Kermit in the sense that it doesn't require foam (although you can use foam if you...
Yeah. Ron's work is great. I have never met him or seen him perform live (only on video) but I really love tabletop puppetry and miss doing it.
BTW, people should check out his "How To" section. He has a nice design for proper hand grips and you can get some ideas about how to properly pattern...
It's from the archives of the Academy of Television. They do hours long interviews with people who have made important contributions to television for historical purposes. To my knowledge the only way to see it is on Google Video. What you see on Google are the full interviews, divided in to six...
Check this out, a VERY scary Joan Rivers puppet being auctioned on ebay. Starting bid is $15,000!
And yes, you read that number right.
Personally, I think it's totally worth it. You could use it to terrorize celebrities on the red carpet at Hollywood premieres...
Has anyone seen the three hour interviews with Carroll Spinney and Joan Ganz Cooney on Google Video? I've posted links to them in blog at http://puppetvision.blogspot.com/2006/01/interview-with-carroll-spinney.html
Try using Spybot Search and Destroy. It's free, reliable and can be found with a google search. It's often best to run Windows in safe mode while you're using it.

Of course the problem is that...
I was sent these by someone who reads my blog and couldn't really find a puppet film and video angle for them so I thought I would post them here...pics of a Howard Stern puppet. This was made for Stern's farewell from K-Rock. Puppet by Scott Land and Marcie Klein.
I think - and this is just pure speculation - that the best we can hope for would be some kind of event at the Disney theme parks similar to the Star Wars Weekends. That would seem to be the most likely thing to do, but who knows?
Hi all,
Two episodes of "Wulin Warriors" (the english version of "Thunderforce" aka PiLi Puppet Theatre) is now available online. The show will be debuting on Cartoon Network February 4th. I've posted links and more info at...
There are various versions available (including a bittorrent) on the KongIsKing.net homepage. Go there and scroll down to "Post Production Diary - 8 Weeks to Go!" in the Production Diaries sidebar on the right side of the page.
Apparently someone tampered with copies of an interactive Elmo book called "Potty Time With Elmo". At one point it's supposed to play a recording of Elmo saying "Who wants to try to go potty?" but instead he says "Who Wants To Die?".

Hi all,
I was recently given back a set of Audrey II puppets I helped build for a production of "Little Shop of Horrors". I have limited storage space at the moment and I'm in the final stages of getting out of debt so I've decided to sell them and wanted to post a message about it here first...
